Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi shipper, We'd be happy to assist you with this. I need to make sure we have no customs issues with the GNC items. We could either pick order at local GNC or have shipped to us to then re-ship to you. If I had to estimate shipping to you it's most likely in the $25-$30 range. I can narrow it down in the morning. Lets agree on a price and then decide if you order right from GNC and have come to our business address. thanks Erik (7/16/2009)
Response: Hello Erik, I think it's much more expensive if you go to a local GNC store and pick up the item.. i believe it's much cheaper if I get the items from their website.. I can get it , pay for it and then have it directly shipped to any address you tell me you want it to? I don't think there is any customs charges.. I was told by Canada customs that if an item is made in north america then there won't be any duties.. just GST which of course I would pay.. please let me know what a fair price is and hopefully we can do business together. I would be ordering every couple months so if everything goes well then i'd always give you the business.. please let me know thanks Sam (7/17/2009)
Response: Hi Sam, Sorry about the delay in response. No problem on GNC picking the order and shipping to us. We are based in MA and if we shipped UPS ground to you in Alberta it would be about a 5 day transit time and a complete cost of $40.00. This is based upon a 10 lb box. We ship and receive UPS daily so when the items arrive we would turn it the same day out to you. We can set you up with a house account that is backed by a credit card for a monthly payment. When packages arrive we re-address and ship to you. We do this sort of thing on a regular basis for many of our mailbox holders. Any other questions let me know. Thanks Erik (7/17/2009)
Response: Hello Erik, that's a really good rate for UPS.. I somewhat don't like UPS because it seems that they always charge me crazy fees for their brokerage fees..etc Can you get a good rate via USPS also? if not then I will probably just go the UPS route but USPS would be much more preffered. please let me know thanks Sam (7/17/2009)
Response: Hey Sam, I understand your concerns with UPS. My thoughts are the following. We can do a USPS which would be a few dollars more, say closer to $50. They generally cost a few dollars more than UPS or FedEx services. What I might like to try (unless you strongly object) is to ship it UPS with a low dollar 'declared value' to minimize the duties/taxes. I'd like to see how that goes and then make a decision if we want to try USPS. We can ask that the duties be billed to us so that you just get the package and don't have to pay anything to receive. We generally like UPS for international services vs. postal. Either way we can make it work for you and make every effort to keep the process cost effective. If you plan to order the same items regularly then we'll know the actual shipping and duties each time thru. Let me know what you think. When ready we'll speak outside of uship on this one. Why pay fees. Keep me posted on any other questions. Thanks Erik (7/17/2009)
Response: Hi Erik i'm really sorry for the late reply. I headed out of town for a last minute family vacation and will be back on July 26. Is it okay if I just place my order on Aug 1st and then have you ship for me? I like the sound of the UPS low value declaration..... you would know better then me but I think it might be good if you just write gifts under the desription and maybe put like a $50 value. please let me know hope all is well on your end!
