Questions for this shipment:
Question:
are you flexable on delivery date ? if the middle of feb is ok I can deliver it for 650.00 Thanks Dave (2/1/2007)
Response:
Yes I am flexible on the date. My main concern is having the machine arive undamaged. Thanks (2/1/2007)
Question:
Ill be driving and I secure the loads my self Plainers are usualy top heavy and if the unit is mounted securely to the pallet I will protect the table and blade before strapping and in the case of an accident I carry 100,000.00 $ in cargo insurance But believe me I would haul it like I own it! (2/1/2007)
Response:
Can you strap the planer instead of using chain binders? One binder in the wrong place and I will have an expensive hunk of scrap. Can you tarp or cover the planer with plastic. If it gets a little wet it is ok. I take it that you have some type of car hauler is that correct. Can you give me your USDOT, MC numbers and any references. This is the first time I used U-SHIP. I don't want to get ripped! I am an honest person and am easy to work with and I like dealing with the same. What are your payment terms you want cash, Bank draft? what ever is fine with me. this is going to be COD right? I read the posting on U-Ship and the norm is COD.What do you expect to be the delerivy date? I am open in fact if it arrives after the 17th it is better for me but if that does not work for you let me know. If this is all ok with you and I am able to check your references then this is a go (2/2/2007)
Question:
I can have it on the truck early next week by wed . (2/2/2007)
Response:
I contacted the machine dealer in Des Planes,IL. He is not in a big hurry to get it picked up after all so anytime is good for him and I am not in a hurry to get the machine to me so what ever works for you is good. The Dealer is a large Co. not a mom and pop place all they ask is you give them 24 hrs notice if you can. They bolted and banded the planer to a skid. I move a lot of machines using Yellow and freight quote but because the dealer can not crate the machine it needs to go on a flat bed (2/2/2007)
Question:
I have placed a bid please read details I think we could be a big help to each other. Any questions please ask. THANK YOU 97GREENPETE MIKE.... (2/2/2007)
Question:
Hi Its no problem to use straps with corners and I haul with a 30' flat trailor it has ramps so sometimes I haul cars but they take a lot of room I also am new to u-ship and yes cash is just fine . My mc#590676 usdot# 1597392 ICC #144558mc I can pickup by the 10th of feb and should have it in cali before the 20th of feb (2/2/2007)
