Response: This is answer from another shipper in regards to permits for a boat of 9' beam: "Technically Yes, Do need permits. Transporters Get them for a 9ft beam, 95% of the time NO. When you Have 10+ beam, yes it would be wise to get a permit. Any way its not to expensive each state has there own fee, 10.00-40.00 depending on what state."
