Response: Sorry things have been hectic with trying to rush this process. The boat is being surveyed tomorrow so I can give you a more definite day after I get the results from that tomorrow night. Is there anyway to talk over the phone without accepting the bid yet? I am new to this site. I have the marina where I am buying it from giving me a quote to ship it to me but if there number is higher than yours I will accept your bid immediatly. PLease submit another bid. Question: ReelTimeHauln here, we are going up to NJ with an empty trailer to move a boat to Houston. We are based on Ms. Gulf Coast. We would like to book your boat to NY. Question: No deadline although the shipper has already relocated to Houston. We feel that it is safer to wait until after the 4th to get back on the road. We will hopefully be ready to leave here Sunday night and pick up boat 8 am Monday.There is another boat in Tampa that may can go first if your boat is not ready. We will deliver your boat. If we have to do a turn around and come from Houston to you we will. No problem.We are here to be of service to you, I am sure we can work out the details. Response: Mike, we have 100,000 liability insurance. Both drivers are experienced boaters. Your boat would look good on our trailer for the ride up...(I'm penny wife of one of the drivers).It is a very nice boat. Response: Hey, things have been crazy with trying to rush this transaction. The boat is being surveyed tomorrow so from there I just have to complete the deal with the owner. I am hoping that the boat will be ready by tuesday or wednesday. I am waiting on a quote from the marina to transport it to me. If their numbers come in higher than yours I will accept your bid. So please resubmit your bid. Is there anyway to discuss over this over the phone without accepting a bid? Response: Penny, I am still waiting on quote from the marina. If you can come down to $2600 I will just give you the job tonight without the marina quote. The boat should be ready Tuesday afternoon latest Wednesday. How long will it take to get here once you pick up the boat? I have a travel lift here ready to lift the boat off the trailer. Response: Mike, We will bid right now.... you have made a great decision as you will find out when you meet these two. We do need the actual height of the boat (for bridges,ect).According to when the boat is ready, we will be straight up to you...sometimes we do have to spend one night on the way up,sometimes not.They will be talking to you (finally) all the way. Question: Careful shipper, no boat over 8'6" wide can legally be hauled after sunset on the east coast. States may impound the boat for violating oversize restrictions,the fines are huge and the owner is ultimately responsible. (7/6/2009)
