Question: Shipper, is this a Port Drop. If so, Do you have an agent to check it through? Thank You (2/18/2008)

Response: yes it is a port drop and need to be shrik wraped, is poss. that will need a agent. (2/18/2008)

Response: Thank You, If you do not have an "Agent" to check it through it may take several hours. You need to check on all of these things. Also, if the trailer does not need to go you can move the boat to a cradle (sell the trailer). This will save space, in some cases! If you are paying for deck space the other info will not be true! You need an Agent, they are worth the money. Shrink wrap can be done anywhere! We are only allowed to bid on this Post! No other charges can be included with this bid...! (2/18/2008)

Response: Hello please post the bid..... (2/26/2008)

Question: If it is going overseas, do you want the arch dropped, check on the cost with it up & with it down, there is a BIG price difference. I can drop it and shrink wrap it if needed. Thanks Wayne % Advance Mobile Marine, PS, please look at my profile (2/18/2008)

Response: Yes Wayne, I need a shrink wrap and is going overseas. Drop it at miami port. Sorry I do not know what you menan with arch price... Could you explain...Thanks Roberto... (2/18/2008)

Response: At the port they measure the entire boat & trailer just as if you were making a tight fitting box for it. And they charge by the cubic inch, so if you can make it shorter in length and height and width you are able to save money on the shipping. Some arches that I've dropped saved over $1,000.00 and somtimes I can move the boat up on the trailer by moving the winch post up and there by saving $ on the length. If you have the guide poles on the trailer, you should take them off. When you got an est. for oversea shipping did you measure the boat as it is on the trailer, if so, go back and measure the height if the arch was removed and call and get another est. I deal 90% with oversea shipping and every single inch makes a difference on the price. On some boats the shipper has me remove radar units and spot lights when mounted up high. I've even taken hard tops off. I hope this helps, please feel free to ask, if I can help in any way, I will, even if you get someone else to do it., Wayne (2/18/2008)

Response: Hello Wayne.. I will go for this boat will need the transportation and shirk wrap. Can you tell the prices.
Thanks. Roberto (2/24/2008)

Response: Thanks Roberto for the request, the shipping would be $525.00 total, no hidden fees or extra charge for delays at port. If you want I'll post a bid for that amount. The shrink wrap would be $225.00 up and above the shipping if you wanted me to do that. My bid here on U-Ship would be just for the shipping of the boat. I assume that you are going to leave the arch up, if it is going on the outer deck then it may not affect the price of shipping. Please let me know if this is OK with you, then I'll post a bid. Please look at my profile and I'll do it on your time table, Thanks, Wayne (2/25/2008)
