Question: Hello. We will be departing Sandy, Utah tommorrow (Sunday August 2nd) and headed to California with drops scheduled in California at Santa Rosa and San Rafael. It would not put us too far off route to deliver your Sofa. We are new to Uship and will give you a great deal for the sake of earning your positive feedback. Our goal is to reach 10 feedback ASAP, which will enable us to exercise the "book it now" feature. We offer an advantage over some competitors by using an enclosed trailer to secure items during transit versus the more common flatbed or open trailer. We have authority from the federal government to provide "for-hire" transporting in 48 states and we carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Question: We are headed west from Utah tomorrow after loading another customer at 10am--it would be early afternoon before we depart. Could this item be picked up tomorrow? If so, we will submit an official bid at $200.00 if you are willing to accept it before we leave Utah. Please let us know. Also, if you accept our bid, you will receive a gift certificate for a free meal at Applebee's as a token of or appreciation for the job. We are a small family owned business and work hard to keep the customer happy--see our feedback. It would be me (Jerry), my wife and two daughters picking up the sofa. We are traveling together in a 2004 Ford F-350 crew cab turbo diesel dually truck pulling a 42ft Pace American enclosed trailer with 2 access doors and a near ground loading ramp. Question: We are City Haul LLC, a local moving company in Salt Lake City. You might have seen our trucks around town. We may also be able to accomodate you with this couch. Response: I just booked a job so I would like to take your couch. If at all possible I would like to leave friday or very early Saturday morning. Otherwise I need to wait until next weekend. Response: Great! Like i said i need to arrange things through the people holding my sofa in Salt Lake. This is my first time using Uship, so I'm a little confused on how the closing of a bid goes, but let me know when you can pick up the sofa, and we'll go from there. Response: We will pick up on the 14th and deliver on Saturday the 16th in the a.m. As far as I know you just need to pay U ship the deposit via pay pal, or credit card. Once you have officially accepted the bid then they will give you my contact info and we can go from there. We will require cash upon delivery. Look forward to working with you.
