Questions for this shipment: 

Question: I have a 6 foot long lift on the side of my truck, could I pull close enough to avoid the steps all together? (8/11/2007)
Response: you could pull up to the porch of the pick up place thereby eliminating 2 steps, but there is still the door threshold to conquer...at the drop off place you could pull a truck up almost to my front door but again the door threshold is the problem. If door thresholds are no problem, then we can eliminate the steps up. Does that make sense? I'm not really sure if it does... (8/12/2007)

Response: There would be no help at the pick up point, but possible help at the drop off point. I'm not really sure how much it weighs to be honest...we were doing a "guesstimate". The piano was my grandmother's...she died about 3 years ago and my aunt really wants the piano out of her house so she can have the room back. I didn't want her to just get rid of it so i'm trying to find a way to get it here. We thought of renting a UHAUL truck but I don't want anything to happen to it and I have no real experience moving things. Add that to going down a mountain even if it is on an interstate...I don't trust my driving enough... Let me know ifyou have any more questions....I'm getting a good bit of bids...it's interesting to see them all....looking forward to yours. (8/13/2007)
