Listing Information
two gensets from El Cajon to Cloverdale, CA
Length:
12 ft 0 in
Width:
6 ft 0 in
Height:
6 ft 0 in
Weight:
5000 lbs
Additional Information:
Would like to bring both at the same time, if possible but am open to pulling separately. If both, would prefer a lowboy trailer as we do not have a forklift big enough to lift these off of a regular 4ft trailer but do have a forklift with a 2" ball attachment that we could pull each one off separately.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Are they 5000lbs each for a total of 10,000 or 5000lb total,,, thank you (3/12/2009)
Response:
yes, I think the two would weigh around 10,000 lbs. total. Richard (3/12/2009)
Question:
I have the same question as above, are they 5000# each, or in total? I have a low deck 30 foot trailer and could load as early as this weekend and deliver in 2 days. DOT/MC compliant, and fully insured with commercial cargo insurance. Rick (3/12/2009)
Response:
yes, I would guess the two would weigh around 10,000 lbs. They both should fit on that size trailer. Richard (3/12/2009)
Response:
Richard, yes they would fit, but that is a little too much weight for my trailer. I could either tow them individually, or trailer them individually. What did you want to pay for each one? I could start right away, and get them both delivered in a few days. Rick (3/12/2009)
Response:
I appreciate the offer, Rick and, if I can't get someone to haul both at the same time, I will take you up on your offer. I should probably know by tomorrow morning so, if you don't mind, ask me that question again tomorrow morning. Thanks (3/12/2009)
Question:
Hi Rick. I can haul both the gensets for you @ $1640, fully insured on my air ride lowbed and you can back your pickup on it and pull them right off. I load/unload trailers/gensets like that all the time. Only question I have is is there a pickup at the loading end to load them the same way?? Please let me know and I'll submit a bid to haul them properly/insured. Thanks, Brian @ Collins Trucking/CTC79 (3/12/2009)
Response:
Thanks, Brian. I will keep this in mind if i do not receive any further bids. (3/12/2009)
Response:
No problem Rick, I can fax u my insurance proof if you accept before I even go load so you know your gensets are covered and I have references @ major rental companies if you'd want to check up on me which your welcome to. I'll submit a bid so it's there if you want to accept (no pressure). If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks, Brian @ Collins Trucking/CTC79 (3/12/2009)
Question:
I can go 1100 for the two,can thay be droped off a week apart ? (3/12/2009)
Question:
I will be down there on Sat the 14th and could haul both at the same time load and unload with out any help ie. forklift etc. My trailer is designed to load and the winch right off. Please check my profile for a picture. Also your trailers will never touch the ground and the jack won't support the weight of the generator either. I have and do haul many of these at a time. I will place a formal bid. Hope to hear from you soon. (3/12/2009)
Question:
hi there how soon are u needing this done (3/12/2009)
Response:
would like to get them by this week end or early next week. Thanks, Richard (3/12/2009)
Question:
hi richard is the length six feet total from the toung to the end of trailer thx Dwayne (3/12/2009)
Response:
no, Dwayne, the length of the generator is somewhere around 12 to 15 ft. It is about 6 ft wide and 6 ft tall. (3/12/2009)
Response:
ok what what brand and model are they so that i can get the correct measurement to see if they will fit on my trailer thxDwayne (3/12/2009)
Response:
They are both Multiquip. DCA 100 and DCA 45 (3/12/2009)
Response:
ok thx Richard i will check the deminsions and see if i can fit them both on my trailer if not and i have to do them one at a time what is your balpark figure for each move? Iam here locally in El Cajon where are the at if u dont mind me asking ?thx Dwayne (3/12/2009)
Question:
I rebid at my lowest price to try and earn your business and because I know this is such short notice. Thank you for your time. Look forward to working for you. (3/12/2009)
