I can do all this for $2700Report a Violation
Response: no, thanks.4/15/2014Report a Violation
hey Roman, I'm a commercial boat hauler that's fully insured and legal motor carrier. Your asking price covers fuel and tolls. I'm assuming that the boats are in auction which I've picked up many times. I've can do this for $2400. I normally would charge that just for the two boats. Let me know if you have any questions. John JGP Trucking LLCReport a Violation
Response: John, please double check the route. You are going from Baltimore to Newburgh with a trailer, then from Newburgh to Bayonne with one boat on a trailer, empty from Bayonne to Newburgh, back to Bayonne with another boat on a trailer. This is not 3 trips to Baltimore. Feel free to ask more questions. you are right, boats are at Manheim Newburgh, trailer is at Venture4/15/2014Not in Violation
Response: Hey Roman, OK I'm going to break it down because I did give it a quick bid without properly calculating it which it was pricey. I charge 750 per boat from auction to Bayonne. Then I'm charging $350 to pick up the trailer. So you are right about being over, the total bid will be $1850 which includes everything. Keep in mind that I do carry commercial cargo insurance which properly protects you and your items in transport. I'm sure you already know I'm commercial boat hauler that is DOT/MC registered and licensed. John JGP Trucking LLC4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: John, I pay a dollar per loaded mile for non-oversize boats. $750 to drive 90 miles is a bit high. 4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: Roman, thanks but I charge at the min $2 a mile for non over sized for over 500 miles and local moves across state lines are a flat $750. Been doing this for many years. If I charged 1.00 a mile for a local move I would of been out of business years ago lol. Sometimes it worth the extra few dollars just to know its going to get done the right way with no headaches. John4/15/2014Not in Violation
Response: thank you for your valueable feedback, John. I too have been buying and shipping boats for years and the only time I pay over $1 per mile is when the boat is oversize or goes to port.4/16/2014Report a Violation
roman I can do this at the end of this weekend for 1500 fully insured. Please adviseReport a Violation
Response: Larry, there is only one trip from Baltimore to Newburgh with an empty trailer, then two 90-mile trips from Newburgh to Bayonne. I think $1,000 is fair. Please read trip details and let me know if you want the load.4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: I read the trip details and did the mileage with tolls and load and unload time. My bid is fair considering the time and effort to complete your shipment in a timely fashion while boats and trailers being insured. I can reduce by $100 if u would like it done this week4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: thanks, I will think on that.4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: Definitely like to do this work for ya and I available Thursday friday to hammer it out for ya. Keep ne posted4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: Larry, make it 1200 and you got the load. I have another boat in Rochester going to Bayonne, just posted it on uShip. So there is one trailer in Baltimore, two boats in Newburgh, one boat in Rochester (extra 440) for the total of $1640. What do you say?4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: I will do total deal including rochester for boat 1950. Rochester to bayonne is a 670 miles. I can get it done early to middle of next week. 4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: You got outbid by 2 drivers.4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Let me know how it works out for u4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: so far two drivers asked for 1200. I think I should split this into 3 separate jobs, drivers get confused by Baltimore pickup I got someone bidding 440 for the Rochester job, but their time frame for pickup is too wide Think I would have better luck on Central?4/16/2014Not in Violation
Response: Its really not that difficult. ...I just understand what time n effort it takes to complete the job and stay in business and keep ur boats insured during transport. Will do this for 1200 and work out rochester after booking this 4/16/2014Not in Violation
Response: $1200 is fine. You are welcome to make a bid of $1200 and I will take it, assuming you can complete the Bayliner 245, trailer and Four Winns 239 by the weekend. You are welcome to the Rochester job for $440 if you want it as well4/16/2014Not in Violation
Response: U know my price. I know what needs to be done and I got pkenty of feedback. Let's get to work4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: I've changed my price to 1200, the job is yours if you want it providing you deliver Bayliner 245 with trailer & Four Winns 239 before the weekend.4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: No can do. Already booked for rest of week. I can do beginning of next week. Plus itll be 600 for rochester to be done following these two4/16/2014Not in Violation
Response: If you are still available by the end of this week and no one else takes the job you are welcome to it. As to Rochester I already have someone bidding 440, just waiting for them to clarify pickup timeframe before I take the bid. You made me raise my price from 1000 to 1200, well done.4/16/2014Report a Violation
hello roman, will these trailers have current license plates? can we do this tomorrow? Report a Violation
Response: yes, you can pick up the trailer tomorrow at Baltimore and take it to Newburgh. While they load Bayliner 245 on the trailer you can take Four Winns from Newburgh to Bayonne, come back to Newburgh to take Bayliner 245 on trailer to Bayonne. Not sure if they will load Bayliner while you drive down 90 miles to Newburgh, but will be ready by next morning. The whole job should take a day and a half. There are no plates, trailer is new from manufacturer, maybe they can issue paper plate, not sure. Feel free to ask further questions. Thanks.4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: ok, i need to know if there are plates available will determine if i can do the job4/15/2014Report a Violation
Response: I don't have any plates. An extra $50 for you if you can borrow a plate or use an old one. You will have a copy of title to the trailer that you pick up at Baltimore, both boats come from Manheim auction. Hope this helps4/15/2014Not in Violation
Roman, to help answer the other questions they do not load you up there. You should have a hydraulic trailer or bring a few jacks. Second, no paper plates you must bring your own transit plates. John JGP Trucking LLC Report a Violation
Response: I know, Alex Marine will load for me. They are the guys doing surveys on boats at Manheim Newburgh. As to plates - I've never seen a transporter without a stack of trailer plates in the trunk. I've got 10 or so in my trunk.4/16/2014Report a Violation
Hi there I can do it for 1500. I'll be in Baltimore on Monday. I could pick up trailer and head north. I am new to uship, but have been transporting boat and cats for several years now. Thank you for the opportunityReport a Violation
Response: The best I can do is $1200 for the trailer and two boats. How many cats will it take to pull the boat?4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Can I pick up the trailer Monday, then deliver both boats on Tuesday? Is the trailer at the port or a business ? I can do it Thanks again 4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Trailer is at Venture trailers, manufacturer. You can deliver both boats Tuesday, but loading Bayliner on trailer will take some time. I suggest you bring trailer to the auction and grab the other boat, already on the trailer. By the time you come back the first boat will be ready. pickup is a business, drop off is a business, no ports.4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: I can do it for 1200. I just need some more details about the trailer and loading and unloading Thanks again CPR4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: You won't have to load boat on trailer, I have a mechanic to do this. 1. Pick up trailer in Baltimore and take it to Newburgh. 2. Grab the Four Winns while mechanic loads Bayliner onto trailer 3. By the time you come back to Newburgh the Bayliner will be ready to go. Trailer pick up is from manufacturer's shop Both boats are at an auction Drop off is a warehouse, I think it is open 24/7 $1200 is fine, you can make a bid of $1200. You've been on uShip for over a year, but have no ratings. Why is that?4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Sounds good. How do we proceed? Should I accept your offer or increase your offer then I accept. Just let me know I'll plan on picking up the trailer Monday morning Thanks again4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: I've already increased my offer to 1200, just click it to get the load or make your bid for 1200, either way is fine.4/16/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Roman, Please let me know if we can go ahead so I can schedule my week. Thanks again. Kevin S CPR4/16/2014Report a Violation
1000 is not even close to fair! the tolls from MD to Newburg be around 250, then on each trip Newburg NJ back and forth be about 100 in tolls, 2 round trips be 200. add fuel on this many miles it around 250-300 for fuel, and this is two days of work. so it looks like i would work two days and after all will pay my own money towards ur shipments if I book this at 1000. That is why my all inclusive bid will be in range $2500-2700Not in Violation
Response: I think your math is off a bit4/16/2014Report a Violation
