Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can this item be towed? Does it have lights? Is it road worthy? Thanks, Delboy (1/1/2008)
Response: No, it is not practical to tow it. Wheel bearings are rated at 35mph, no lights, and the tires need replaced for that distance. Thanks, Mark (1/1/2008)
Response: Ok, that let's me out. I don't have a trailer yet. Good luck with your shipment. Delboy (1/1/2008)
Response: Thanks for the inquiry! (1/2/2008)
Question: Hello. Tony from Wolverine Farm Services. When does this item need shiped? How difficult would it be to detach the convaryer and lay it under the unit on the deck of the trailer? Will there be a tractor or something to use at both ends to put it on and off a trailer? Ball park estimate I will say about $1200-$1500 to haul it that distance. (1/1/2008)
Response: There is no hurry on shipment date. I will ask the current owner about detaching the conveyor and get back to you on it. There is equipment and help on both loading and unloading ends to get the grinder on/off the trailer. Mark (1/2/2008)
Response: Hello again. My trailer is 8' wide full lenght. I can transport with the belt on or off. my trailer is 45' long over all. I would like to take the belt off just so it's not bouncing. I'm afraid going that distance that the welds on the cylinder atachments for the rasing and lowering might break. Or if it will lower far enough to trst on the uprights of my gooseneck. I'm guessing this machine by the looks is about 10 years old? (1/3/2008)
Response: It is more than 10 years old...probably closer 15 years old. The seller thinks that the conveyor can be lowered and tied off to secure it properly from any harm; however, I am not opposed to having the conveyor taken off. (1/3/2008)
Question: i am going that way mon i would take this load for 1100.00 if theirs a way to get on my 35ft car trailer and off (1/2/2008)
Response: There are tractors at both ends that can back the item onto/pull off the grinder from the truck as long as it can be loaded from the ground. There are no cranes available at each end to set it on a flatbed. The item weighs 7100lbs but is on wheels. If your car carrier can load from the ground, there will be help to move it on and off the carrier. The bigger problem is the conveyor at 10 1/2 feet height...wouldn't want to run into bridges. It is possible to let it down...I have questions into the owner now to get the let down height and length and to determine if the conveyor can be detached. (1/2/2008)
Response: thats great id like to haul it for you hows tor pick up and del on fri morning my trailer is 2 ft tall also if we let it down that be better let me know id like to help you out (1/2/2008)
Response: 2 foot off the ground with ramps to load from ground level? We can back it on the trailer with tractor then from the ground. I am trying to contact the seller in WI to make arrangement...what time would you want to pick-up on the jan 3rd? (1/2/2008)
Response: i would like to put in on foward dont know if wheels fit between wheel wells yes torrow thrus id be their at 8am (1/2/2008)
Response: I am not sure how it could be put on or taken off forward. Outside dimension of the wheels is 8 feet...so you need at a minimum 8 feet between the wheel wells. The seller would prefer to load you at 4:30pm on Thurs. Is this going to work? (1/2/2008)
Response: no aint going to work backwards (1/2/2008)
Question: i am going this way in morning thrus i can take i asked last question let me know asap (1/2/2008)
Response: This thursday morning...Jan 6th or Jan 13th? (1/2/2008)
Response: the 3rd (1/2/2008)
