Questions for this shipment:

Question: Thank you but I am not in that area. Try Dony13 a friend of mine. Don't know since he lives in Fort Worth area. (10/6/2006)
Response: Hi, Who is Dony13? I'll look at the list, but if you have his e-mail, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Ron (10/6/2006)
Question: How soon do you need this tractor moved? I will be leaving Beaumont, Tx 10-10 going to Mora, NM (10/7/2006)
Response: Hi CeciliaE, I would need it as soon as you could deliver it. I will be leaving for Arizona on the 15th for a clinic, so if you could get it here before then, I'd appreciate it. If not, I'd have to make some other arrangements, like having a friend meet you. I sent some questions but don't know if you got them as the page got stuck. 1) Are you insured? 2) Are you familiar with compact tractors? I'd have someone to help you on both ends 3) Do you need a loading dock or do you have ramps? 4)Can you bring it to Albuquerque or do I have to go to Mora? Thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you. Ron (10/7/2006)
Question: Thank you for the response. Even though we couldn't do business on this shipment, I hope you will consider me if you have future shipping needs. I sincerely wish you the best with your shipment....and I think you are asking all the right questions. I appreciate the prompt response // Don @ SEMO Motor Transport Service (10/7/2006)
Response: You're welcome Don. This is a great service and sure, I will keep you in mind for the next shipment. I'll also pass on your name to some auto dealer friends I have in Ft. Worth. Ron (10/7/2006)
Question: Thank you, I'd appreciate it. // Don (10/7/2006)
Question: $980 with $450 deposit to secure schedule delivered by 10/13 in the evening. I am DOT regulated and insured. 1m cargo insurance and other insurances required by DOT. I have to know by 10AM on 10/12. VISA, MC, and DISC accepted.hipshot (10/11/2006)
Response: Thank you but I have one bid at $600 (not from USHIP,) and one at $700 from USHIP. (10/12/2006)
Question: Hi I was reading the Q&A and want to verify do you want in in ABQ or Mora? We are a local company out of alb. We are fully ins. How soon are you wanting this? We are familiar with tractors small and large, and would like to help you get your tractor...thanks..pickupanddeliver (10/11/2006)
Response: Hi, We live in Ponderosa, which is just north of Alb. I need the tractor here by Friday, but could stretch it to Sat. if need be. That would be cutting it really close for me as I leave for Arizona for a clinic very early Sun. morning. So if you could do it by Friday, that would be best. (10/12/2006)
Question: I can transport it on a flatbed for $870. I have operarted front end loaders/backhoes etc all my life. Absolutely NO help needed to load/unload. Just transported 2 skid steers last week from TX to the NE & 2 small tractors about a month ago from TX to NM. Fully Lic & Ins. Read my profile/feedback.One place to find me would be ton select Provider Dir/boats/local//TX/Dallas. YES, I know that 870 is higher than your other offers but operating costs drive my price and NOT profit margin. (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi, I unsderstand about operating costs and will keep your offer in mind. Until yesterday, it was being delivered for $700, so paying another $170 for this tractor is a lot for me. I do like that you know how to haul this type of equipment though. I will let you know by around 10 as I am waiting for an answer to one of my questions from the $600 bid. If affirmative, I will probably go with that one. But thank you for being up front. I will keep you in mind for future deliveries as well. Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: Ron, Fully understand your position as well. Thankyou for also being upfront. Guess we are all in the same boat? Tractor? Just a little humor this AM. Wish you the best on whatever you choose. I will con't to watch your shipment to see how it progresses. Just curious, any flex on delivery schedule? Such a short suspense. If more time was alloted to combine with another shipment, price could be reduced. Tim (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi Tim, The problem is that I leave for Arizona early Sunday morning (like 4:30 a.m.) and so I needed it here a.s.a.p. It was supposed to be delivered today, but the driver's truck broke down. My luck. If it works out that I can't get it here before I leave, then it wouldn't matter so much as I return on the 22nd. I would like it here before I return, but my wife works during the day so there isn't anyone here to accept delivery before then. But, should we not be so pressed for time, how much could you come down in price? (10/12/2006)
Question: Well, I'd try to come down to your comfort zone of 700 1st of all. Secondly, no one being available during delivery is NOT an issue either if specific instructions on where to park it are left and as to where to leave the keys. I've delivered several times without anyone at delivery destination and settled on restitution later. Foolish? Maybe. But that's me. I've even been told to keep keys & then had to mail them later. The list goes on. Some of these situations are addressed in my feedback. (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi Tim, Sorry, but I accepted a bid from a guy who lives pretty close to where the tractor is. He will get it to me by tomorrow, has insurance, etc. and will take $700. But if it doesn't work out, I will get back to you, and I will keep you in mind for future deliveries. Keep up the good work and thanks. Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: Just to give you a better idea as to who you are communicating with here, copy & paste this into your browser to easily find me/my profile on this site. http://directory.uship.com/VeteransTransport (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi Tim, Sorry for the delay as I was feeding the horses. I'm very impressed! Let's see what transpires this morning. I would still rather get it here by tomorrow if possible. If not, I will most likely accept your bid if you can do it for closer to my target price. We'll know pretty soon. Thanks again, Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: P.S. to my bid! If tractor is running I will not need assistance to load.hipshot (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi, Thanks for your response, but I have to decline as the price is too high. I have other who will do it for between $6-700. Thank you anyway, Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: Do you still need to ship your tractor? (10/12/2006)
Response: Yes, and I need it here by tomorrow. I sent you a couple of questions earlier. Did you get them? 1) are you insured? 2) are you familiar with tractors 2) can you get it here by Friday (tomorrow?) I can't remember if you answered these already as I have many questions coming in. But thanks, and let me know a.s.a.p. Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: Ron, I know I am high but timing (not going elsewhere) is the issue for me to be able to offer the guarantees. Just let this bid expire at 2 PM (latest I can wait for this job and meet guarantees) today so you have a way out if nothing else comes up.Good luck with your shipment. (10/12/2006)
Response: Thanks much for your help. I will do that. Ron (10/12/2006)
Question: HELLO! The copy/paste enables the shipper to easily access your profile on this site. That's all it does!!! (10/12/2006)
Response: Hi Tim, I meant I was impressed with your stats. :) We are getting closer. If I don't accept a bid by say 11:00 this morning Mountain Time, then I doubt it's going to happen in time for me to get the tractor before I leave for my clinic in Arizona. I'll also have to talk with the dealership where it's at as they might not want me to leave it another week. It was a consignment deal for them. Talk to you soon, Ron (10/12/2006)
