Questions for this shipment:

Question: meet me in des moin adn ill do it for 1.15 a loaded mile. kee in mind this is in the middle of nowhere michigan ha! you would have it tomorrow night (5/4/2008)
Response: Ok, I'm trying again to send you a message I included my contact number in the last one and so am not sure if it got through. I am willing to pay $700 to get the tractor delivered to the west side of Des Moines where I80 and I35 meet and 80 heads north and 235 shoots off to the east. I will need some advance notice to contact the place in MI where the tractor is at and schedule a pick up. Thanks, Mark (5/5/2008)
Response: i can deliver 1.10 a mile from door to door and you would have it monday. pick up between now and then (5/6/2008)
Response: When I type in the information on Yahoo maps from Pigeon, MI to Des Moines, IA it says the route is 667.9 miles. 668 miles x $1.10 per mile is $734.80. or 795 miles to Council Bluffs, IA 795 miles x $1.10 is $874.50. I'd be willing to pay $735 to the west side of Des Moines intersection of 35 & 80 or $875 to the east side of Council Bluffs intersection of 80 & 29. I will need some notice to contact the gentleman where the tractor is at to work arrangements with him to pick it up. Do you have cargo insurance? Are you working this in with another load? If not maybe I can find another tractor close along the route and we can work out something that will cheapen up my per tractor hauling costs. Thanks, Mark (5/7/2008)
Response: insurance guy told me whats on my trailer is covered! yes this will be with another tractor already. that one is coming out of fort wayne going to omaha, thats the reason for trying to help you with your tractor. you price of 875 will work. is this tractor a narrow front or wide front tires? my trailer is open center so just want to make sure before i bid and cant haul. (5/7/2008)
Response: Just curious what is happening on your end as I haven't heard back from you since I replied to your question yesterday morning. Thanks, Mark (5/9/2008)
Response: just putting my ducks in a row you'll get a formal bid real soon (5/9/2008)
Response: I've talked to the guy I bought the tractor from and have a cell phone number to reach him at. He works days but sounds like he would be willing to cooperate loading the tractor about any afternoon after six pm. Thanks, Mark (5/12/2008)
Question: Hello, I am traveling from Michigan to Omaha in the next 7 to 10 days and may be able to help. Is there a loading dock at the place of pickup? Thanks Chris (5/14/2008)
Response: I'd have to check about a loading dock. I would doubt if there is one available at the place where the tractor is located as it is at the home of the man I bought it from. It runs if you have ramps for your trailer. Or I would have to check with him about transporting it to a loading dock for you to load. What did you have in mind for a price? Thanks, Mark (5/15/2008)
Response: Hi Mark, I need to know if this is a narrow front or wide front and what the width is for sure on it as I am hauling another piece also. I will do it for a bid of $900.00 delivered to my brother's equipment business on north 90th street in Omaha as it would work best I think for both of us on loading and unloading at a location instead of out on the highway. Please let me know as soon as possible and I will place a bid. I am looking at making this trip probably over the holiday weekend. Thanks Chris (5/15/2008)
Response: First question do you have trailer ramps so you can load? The owners manual I have lists the official dimensions as Overall Width 86 5/8" Overall Length 130 1/4" and Overall Height 87 7/8" it is a standard tread tractor so a wide front end model. Delivery to 90th Street would work. I am willing to pay $750. Thanks, Mark (5/15/2008)
Response: I think I will pass. This is almost 400 miles additional for me to travel to pick it up from Kalamazoo to Pigeon and back. I have a 24ft tilt dozer trailer 8 feet wide. Loading and hauling is not a problem. At $4.50 a gallon and holiday travel $900.00 is the best. Thanks for the opportunity to visit with you. Chris (5/15/2008)
Response: You are right diesel is expensive and doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Would you be willing to work with me and do it for $850? I would like to have the tractor but I'm trying to work on a budget too. Please let me know. Thanks, Mark (5/15/2008)
Response: Hello again, I am working on coordinating this with another unit. The 11 foot measurement you gave for the length is that the actual or estimated. I have a 24 foot trailer and am trying to load your unit and another that he is giving me a length of 14 feet on. I have 24 feet 2 inches of deck space and do not want to end up short. Please advise and I will place a bid. Thanks Chris (5/15/2008)
Response: Since the tractor isn't here I can't measure it but as per the original John Deere factory specifications for this model: Over-All Width 86 5/8" Over-All Length 130 1/4" Over-All Height 87 7/8" I rounded off the length to 11 feet I believe you possibly may be able to save a couple of inches if you remove the drawbar. I do have model 620 standard tractor here I can look at the factory specs on it and measure it against the tractor to see. I believe the 620 and the 720 were the same length that the 720 frame was just a little wider and heavier. Thanks, Mark (5/16/2008)
Response: Mark, You need to accept the bid so we can exchange information. Chris (5/16/2008)
