Questions for this shipment:
Question:
I could do this at the end of July for you. Possibly drive over to CA (I own a cottage there) on an open trailer. What is your target price? Please see my feedback. Thanks. (6/23/2007)
Response:
You own a cottage in California, or Canada? :) My target price to get it here is a thousand dollars. The quotes so far are just a bit more...so I am waiting it out, hoping. :D Let me know, Jonathan (6/24/2007)
Response:
Hi, It's in Canada. I'll keep my eye on it and see if you still need it shipped....looks like someone might do it for you this week. (6/25/2007)
Response:
In all honesty, end of July may be better for me. The present owner of the car needs to move some others to get it accessible. Can you trailer it over the bridge too? that would save me a wee headache. :) (6/25/2007)
Response:
I cross over quite often. I couldn't do it as a commercial carrier. I guess we could meet up on the Port Huron side and drive over together or something. I imagine you'd need to stop at customs and pay some kind of duty. Open to your ideas.... (6/25/2007)
Response:
Sure, I suppose that would work. :) I have to give them all the paperwork 72 hours in advance, so they can clear title, but that is no biggie. Did you determine a figure, assuming you drive it right over? I need it dropped off about 2 blocks from the bridge, so there is no real additional driving involved on your part. Let me know! Thanks! Jonathan (6/25/2007)
Question:
Hello! Non op is more expensive (6/26/2007)
Question:
HELLO! Would $1,200 With USHIP FEES WORK. Half up front for deposit. Thanks, for your business. (7/18/2007)
Response:
Hi! Thanks for your bid. I think I may have settled on a bid for 1000, but I won't know for sure until this weekend. Thanks! (7/18/2007)
Response:
HELLO! I could possible do it for $1,000 Plus UShip Fees. Half Deposit when I pick up load. I am working on a load to Michigan as well. Thanks, for your business. (7/18/2007)
Question:
We are leaving for the area that this needs to go to the second week in August. We are building a load at this time,we have 1 spot left on the trailer if you still need this shipped, you need to accept my bid. You will not find a lower price than I have offered. Don Moose on the Loose Transporters Beaverton, Oregon (7/26/2007)
Response:
Sounds pretty good... can you import it over into Sarnia, assuming I get the documents (title) done at the border the needed 72 hours in advance? Are you coming into the country? (7/27/2007)
Response:
Sorry we do not go into Canada. But we can meet you any place in Sarnia that you would like, it needs to be in a large parking lot or some side street as our truck/trailer combination is 60'+ If this is ok and you are ok with my bid, please accept my bid. After bid is acceppted we will get contact information to workout the details. (7/27/2007)
Response:
Sounds fine. So we will meet in Port Huron somewhere. I am sure we can find a suitable mall parking lot. No worries. When would you do this? You are aware it is a roller, and there will be parts inside the car? I need to have 72 hours to clear the title, other than that we are set. :) Worst case is we roll it off one trailer onto mine and I sit on it until it clears. Let me know. Oh, how does payment work? How do I pay you? Paypal ok? Let me know, Jonathan (7/27/2007)
Response:
The best thing to do is just accept my bid . Which will give us contact information then we can work everything out. As far as payment goes uship will want their fee when the bid is made( thru PayPal I think)I only want paid(COD) when I deliver the car in Port Huron and you have had the final inspection. The inop casr is fine we handle lots of them. Best to just accept bid then we will talk one on one. Thanks Don (7/27/2007)
