It should be obvious that I am looking to buy a certain type of boat, and need to know how much it will cost when I ship it so I can figure the whole ammount. Response: I tried to give you planning info. I would hope you are buying the boat on its merits and not on transport costs. The extra costs to go into LI are due to higher costs for tolls, permits, and the requirement for an escort, also it is a night move. I am putting these bids out there, not so much to see who is "cheaper", but also to see who is most competent . Your comany seems to be one of the better ones, that's for sure. Question: Hi, my rate to move this boat would be $4200.00. Long Island is more expensive for a few reasons, the permits are high, the tolls are high for an oversize load. And this move will require an pilot car over the Throggsneck bridge. And that is if they allow that route. Thay may not allow it over that bridge, it depends on what construction they have going on. If you are wondering why that bridge, it is because the roads as you know are horrible, and that route is the least stressfull on my quipment and your boat!
