Question: would the weekend of dec 4th work (10/25/2009)

Response: Hi:
We'll be arriving in Ft. Pierce, Fl on December 10th at about 8:PM so my pet cat cannot be dropped off before then. I know the logistics will be a little hard -- we're leaving Dover, NH on December 9th early in the a.m. so kittie would have to be picked up on December 8th depending how long it takes you to get her to Ft. Pierce, Fl. The shorter the better since she refuses water and food until she gets out of the vehicle (and into a motel or home.) Let me know how you operate-- what type of vehicle and how many animals on board (only cats and dogs?). What area are you coming from? How long have you been transporting pets?
Many thanks,
Barbara (10/25/2009)

Response: At this time pick up on a tuesday is not possible we would have to pick up the weekend before and deliver to you at a time of your choosing thursday the 10th.We live in florida and would keep the baby until thursday. We have over 5 yrs experience transporting pets we have taken cats from maine to california.we own cats ourselves and that is why we now only do this part time so we can be with them more.We wouldnt have your baby in a van for any amount of time that would be detrimental to the health and well being. We also have experience in the medical profession both CNA's and Veronica was a med tech.We have rescued and saved the lives of many baby kittens if you choose us for your service you will meet our latest rescue Cooper.Any ways we have a lot of love for the passengers we carry so we wont have more than 6 at one time please feel free to ask anything thanks (10/25/2009)

Response: You really sound like wonderful animal lovers. If you pick up my cat on say on a Sunday, when do you arrive in Florida at your place which is where? My cat is a one person (me) feline and doesn't take to other humans or animals; it's just her nature from what the vet tells me! Do you stop at a motel on the way down? If so, how do you handle all the animals? Of the half dozen animals you transport are there cats and dogs? My kitty is terrified of dogs to say the least. She is skittish due to the fact that she was badly injured by ferral cats and was also lost in Virginia for 90 days, having bolted out of our motel, It's a miraculous story on how we found her. We do have a microchip in her now and we're extremely careful when we travel with her.
Thanks again.

Response: actually we would be back in fl by Sunday evening for I work mon-thurs i am also a powder coating tech.We know how that is we have a cat named Katie who is that same way we would let her stay in a large room with alot of little hiding spots for her and well lit. That way she wont have to socialize with anyone she doesnt want to.if we do spend the night in a motel we would put her in a crate every time we even think the door will open.Usually our trips back down to florida are not as full as heading up from fl.I hope I am answering well enough (10/25/2009)

Response: Hi Lee and Veronica:
Your transport service for my kitty Basha sounds really wonderful. I definitely want to book with you but am nervous about her being with dogs in your van. She can ignore other cats but I wonder if she would be traumatized with barking dogs around her. I don't want to sound paranoid but she really is a 'different' cat from all the ones I've had. Time is getting short and I really want you to put Basha on your Florida run. Let's continue e-mailing as you get your schedule firmed up. You sound amazing.

Question: Its my birthday today so i am leaving right now for a short while i will be back to answer questions if you have more shortly thanks (10/25/2009)

Response: Belated Happy Birthday! I hope it was great.
Would you please let me know a little more about your animal transport? $300. seems like a fair amount and I'm definitely interested in entrusting my kitty with you. Do you have a van? Do you pick up other animals on the way south? How do you care for cats (dogs will eat and drink anytime)- my cat will sulk all the way down and won't eat or drink until she hits a motel or Ft. Pierce. If you don't make overnight stops how do you handle this? She would have to be picked up here in Dover, NH on December 8th the latest since we're hopping on a train on the 9th arriving in Ft. Pierce on the 10th (8 PM at our condoor a little earlier).
Many thanks,
Barbara
