Additional Information: EEK!! We just found out that rental trucks cost WAY too much, and we need to move in less than two weeks! My husband is in the military and we don't have much of a budget, but we desperately need to move a studio apartment's worth of stuff that is currently in storage. This consists of boxes of personal items, for the most part, with only 5 small, lite pieces of furniture (1 futon, 2 medium sized pine book shelves, a small vanity table, a tv stand and a hope chest). We are moving from San Diego, CA to Seattle, WA. My last day in San Diego is Wednesday, April 17th. We can load this stuff up in a u-haul and bring these items to you, or you can pick them up from the storage unit. HELP!! Report a Violation

Question: Our company is leaving to LA area on the 18th, if this works please don't delay. Our route is from Seattle to LA area and surround areas, then back to Seattle. We are almost full and can help you out. If you still need service please contact us or bid. (4/5/2008)
Response: When would you get to the San Diego area? (4/6/2008)
Question: Since your military when I confirm my Seattle bid I'll do it for $550... OnTheMoveForYou, Mark (4/5/2008)
Question: Mt Seattle bid confirmed...are you ready? OnThMoveForYou, Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: You must not have read my last message to you. I will not be in Seattle until April 18th...7 days after you say the delivery would have to happen. There will not be anywhere to deliver my stuff TO until April 18th. I could have the stuff delivered to you anytime after today, but Is there a way for this to be delivered after the 18th? (4/6/2008)
Response: That might be ough...If I get another load in Washington I can justify staying...How about short term storage in Washington until you can deliver since you won't have to bring it to me on this end? Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: I'm going to talk to the apartment manager and see if I can get access to our apartment by the 11th. (4/6/2008)
Response: That's a good idea... Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: So, if I am able to get early access to the apartment on the 11th, how much extra will it cost to have you unload it into our apartment, seeing as that I really don't have anyone on that end to assist me with it? (4/6/2008)
Response: It cost me $60 for a mover helper for a 4 hour minimum and so is that O.K.? I get the truck tomorrow and can leave tuesdy...ready? I only have time for 1 small load and hope to help you... Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: I am not able to talk to my future landlord until tomorrow morning, as they are closed on Sundays. So I will not know if I am able to get access to my apartment early until tomorrow morning. (4/6/2008)
Question: Why update your bid and not just accept mine...Less stress for you.. OnTheMoveForYou, Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: Can it be delivered after the 18th? (4/6/2008)
Question: As a retired CPO, I would advise you to get everything in writing and check the Operating Authority and Insurance of whom you chose as the Safersys.gov. web site shows some of these Operating Authority numbers to be inactive and the Insurance inactive also. Good Luck, and thank you for your service. (4/6/2008)
Response: Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. Cheers, Christina (4/6/2008)
Question: If this goes in storage I can deliver it myself if the truck can drive up to the door etc...No helper for $60 and save t for the storage short term... Mark (4/6/2008)
Question: I think 11th delivery and helper is best though... Mark (4/6/2008)
Question: I would be surprised if they didn't let you in to at lest put it in on area as they even clean ot etc.... Talk in the morning? OnTheMoveForYou, Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: I just got ahold of my landlord a few minutes ago. Bad news, though... my apartment won't even be ready until the 15th, so I guess this isn't going to work, after all. Thank you so much for trying to work with me and for being willing to give us a military discount, and all. We really do appreciate it, Mark. I sure do wish the timing would work! Best Regards, Christina and Duke (4/6/2008)
Response: 15th I can make work... Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: Awesome! So, could you spell out for me how this works? Do I need to get pallets and plastic wrap and palletize my stuff? If not, my plan was to rent a uhaul for the day, load all of the stuff out of my storage unit (as it is an upstairs, interior unit), and instead of taking it to our apartment complex that has a tiny parking area, I was going to take it to my mothers house where she has a big driveway for us to load it into your truck. (I'm assuming there is a ramp that we could walk up?) I work at 3pm on Tuesday. What time would you be here in San Diego? (4/6/2008)
Response: Why don't I show up in my truck and we just load it right in so you won't have to rent a truck...you can help me load Tuesday morning... I blanket wrap/shrink wrap everything needed... Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: My storage unit does not look like it would facilitate a big truck, AT ALL. Also, my husband is in Tonopah and unable to help me. He will be meeting me in Seattle on the 23rd. I have my brother and his friends helping me pack everything into the uhaul tomorrow. (Plus, it's an upstairs interior unit and I would not want to put you through all of that hassle for the extremely low price that you are charging!) (4/6/2008)
Response: That makes sence now and accept th bid then we can work out the details of comming to meet me and a hand off to my truck spot... Mark (4/6/2008)
Response: sounds great (4/6/2008)
Question: I can deliver you the 15th....Are you ready to book? OnTheMoveForYou, Mark (4/6/2008)
Question: Im leaving on the 18th and would be ariving on the 21-22nd. I say that depending on road status. Hopefully this helps and we can service your needs. (4/6/2008)
