Questions for this shipment:

Question: Thanks for the request but I am not in the area. (11/13/2007)
Question: Hi! Is your trailer a full 8'? I may be able to haul it in my enclosed hauler, which is about 95" wide. Rick. (11/13/2007)
Response: ya it is 8'4 (11/13/2007)
Response: Hi! Thank you for your response, but I guess I will not be able to help you out. Thanks again, Rick. (11/13/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request. Sorry, too wide for my enclosed. (11/13/2007)
Question: Sorry, we will not be in your area for quite a while, we deal mainly with motorcycles and your trailer would be too wide for our enclosed, please keep us in mind for the future, Matthew, FBT (11/13/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request however width is to wide for our enclosed. (11/13/2007)
Question: thanks for the request, a few questions, does this need to go in an enclosed trailer? If not, is the trailer roadworthy, plated? And when is the best time for you? For me it would be early next week. (11/13/2007)
Response: it does not need to go in a enclosed it is a brand new trailer i think that i can get a transport permit next week will be tight but a quick response and i may beable to make it work what is your route end destination (11/13/2007)
Response: If you think next week would be too soon, I can schedule it for later. It would be a deticated run for me, I will find something coming back. (11/13/2007)
Response: do you plan to ship on a flat bed next week? already shipping a similar route? (11/13/2007)
Response: No, I would pull behind my truck. (11/13/2007)
Response: price for next week? (11/13/2007)
Response: around 1000.+/- a few (11/13/2007)
Question: sorry, nothing else currently in MT (11/13/2007)
Question: Thankyou for the bid request but I will not be in your area anytime soon. You can acquire an equally qualified Carrier by using Uship’s Shipper tips link at: http://www.uship.com/tips/showtip.aspx?tipid=200 It’s titled: What is a LEGAL carrier? And it reads: A LEGAL carrier is a service provider who has filed the proper paperwork with the Department Of Transportation (DOT) and has acquired the proper limits of insurance per the DOT guidelines. It is federal law that ANYONE who transports anything in a "for hire" capacity must be deemed legal and issued a DOT or MC (motorcarrier) Number in order to operate in that aspect of commerce. Although different criteria apply to different types of cargo, ALL service providers MUST be registered with the DOT. All LEGAL carriers can be checked out at the FMCSA(federal motor carrier safety administration) website by their DOT#, MC#, or legal company name. Be sure to check License and Insurance section as well (11/13/2007)
Question: Hello, Appreciate the request! I was eyeballing your listing and another and wishing I had my 42' trailer built so I could make a WI run! The 42'er is not yet ready; so I couldn't give you a 'smoking deal' since I only have my 20' and am limited in what I can haul currently. I am in WA/ID next week, but may be able to do a run 11-23/11-27 as I have those dates open...what is your preferred timeframe for shipment? Hauling it on my trailer would eliminate the wear and tear on your new trailer and avoid the need for a transporter tag. Are you from MT, or coming down from Canada as many are these days? I live in Billings. Best regards, Aaron - AGSS (11/13/2007)
Response: Hi Aaron thanks for the reply I am from Canada nov 23 works good (11/13/2007)
Response: It looks like 11-24 (Saturday) would be the day I could be out to WI...is the pickup location open for business on Saturday? I would have to be @ $800 for my bid...is this close enough to your 'target' as I see you have shot down 9 previous bidders...not sure if my ego can handle being #10! ;-) (11/14/2007)
Response: Hi there don't mean to hurt anyones feelings but i am on a tight buget. Will you be hauling on a flat deck? I will check to see if they are open sat. Hope there is a little room in your price and we make thi work cheers, chris (11/14/2007)
Response: Chris, I understand your goals...no feelings hurt, business is business! :-) I am looking at it right now thinking I would be using my car hauler as I would be toting something out to WI. Width may be a concern though since my trailer is only 82" between the fenders. Do you know the width of the trailer measured from the outermost tire extremeties? Aaron (11/14/2007)
Response: hi the bed width is 101" the tires are 20.5x10c tandom axel the tires are recessed under the bed but i am not sure how much???? how high are your fenders of the bed??? maybe you can give me a cheap price to haul back the 2 sled only no trailer since you are coming back empty? write back please (11/14/2007)
Response: The fenders are only 9" off the deck. The sleds would be easier to load w/o the trailer, but truthfully it wouldn't really change the price much. Snow machines/atv's/motorcycles typically fetch $400-$500 each going this far on uShip. I have an interesting situation being from MT in that I actually need to find my backhaul up front...not much stuff headed out of here! (11/14/2007)
Response: I understand thanks for your time ,pleasure speaking with you, Chris (11/14/2007)
Response: Chris, If I can combine this with another small-piece haul (or two) I suppose I could drop to $700 for you. I see your other listing...does that one supercede this one; or are you just pricing it out w/o the trailer? (11/15/2007)
Response: Hi again Aaron I am just looking at the optin to ship only the sleds with no trailer. Was souding like it was not going to fit on your car hauler. Trying to make it fit in my buget. Yes it is the same shippment thanks, Chris (11/15/2007)
Question: i can do this for $1000.00 let me know asap. thanks, joe (11/14/2007)
Response: please enter as bid with time and more info thanks what is yoour final destination? (11/14/2007)
Response: your listed destination. when will this be ready for pickup??? (11/14/2007)
Response: next week i live in moose jaw sk canada (11/14/2007)
Response: ok bid has been placed. (11/14/2007)
Question: WILL THE SLEDS BE READY FOE PICK UP AFTER THANKSGIVING LIKE SATURDAY OR SUNDAY? PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS WALBERT52 ALSO INSURED AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU (11/14/2007)
Response: yes , they wil be ready please send a quote what is your final desination? (11/14/2007)
Response: I WILL TOW THEM TO MT FOR YOU I SENT YOU A BID THANKS WALBERT52 (11/14/2007)
Question: CAN IT BE PULLED as is? If so is it licensed registered and do all the lights work? (11/14/2007)
Response: yes can be pulled all lights work i think that i can get a transport permit (11/14/2007)
Response: WOW you are on top of this like no one I met on U SHip before THANKS I HAVE IT SAVED AND may be able to do this 19 - 30th Nov (11/14/2007)
Response: MerchanyGuyser i did not see a bid from you if i missed it could you please resend thanks Chris (11/14/2007)
Response: A couple days ago it looked like a $1000 bid may be OK now due to this fuel situation I just can't go less than $1000 and it looks like you declined those bids over $900 etc. .... I will keep watching I may be able to match $900 but this is a long way and gas costs more each day .... (11/15/2007)
Response: Hello would yu be hauling on a flat bed ? could you please rebid thanks, Chris (11/15/2007)
Question: can this be picked up on nov 26th. if so i can have it put on my flat bed . and haul to you. no need in plates or worry about tires or bearings. im insured , p,lease look at my feed back. can do for $900.00. if this will work let me know and i will bid. need to know adsap to book the load. thanks and have a great day (11/14/2007)
Response: the 26th would work fine but the price is still abit high PLEASE BID AND I WILL MAKE A DECISION IN A DAY OR TWO (11/14/2007)
Question: Sorry, but the last price quoted is as low as I can go. If you could meet us somewhere in between, we should be able to lower the bid. Please let me know if you would like me to re-bid. (11/15/2007)
Response: hi i could meet in Minot if that is better for you?? will you haul on a flat deck???? please re bid thanks, Chris (11/15/2007)
Question: i bid 900. and you already turned it down. i can not go any lower. fuel, insurance , its all very expencive. i was going to put it on my truck to haul it. but for $8.00 less you will have some one pull it. then you have wheel bearins and tires to worry about. i will rebid but for $900.00 . sorry can not do it cheaper (11/15/2007)
Question: Sorry I can't run for as low of prices that you have posted, I can go to $1100 lowest, thanks for bid request. Mike@highwaymantrucking (11/15/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request but not in the area (11/15/2007)
Question: sorry had to cancel, another bid accepted. (11/15/2007)
Question: the best i can do is 70 cents a mile fuel prices are getting crazy (11/15/2007)
Response: HI WALBERT52 thank you 70 cents a mile is a little more reasonable will you meet me in minot nd 859mi $601.30. You are insured and registared with dot? I have to look into transport permit or insurance as these sleds and trailer are new . I was planing having it hauling on a flat bed. please palce bid Thank you have a great night, Chris (11/15/2007)
Response: YES I'M INSURED FOR $50,000 NO I DON'T HAVE A DOT OR MC NUMBER I WILL TAKE THEM ALL THE WAY (11/15/2007)
Question: YES I'M INSURED. I WILL DELIVER THEM TO THE DROP POINT. I WILL TOW THE SLEDS ON THAT TRAILER THANKS (11/15/2007)
Response: does that mean that you will not ship to minot nd? i would preffer minot (the wife can shop) while we meet. is the walmart parking lot good? i did not see a bid??? pick up dates drop off date? do you know anything about tranport insurance for the trailer or a temporary permit???? Thank you for bidding, Chris (11/15/2007)
Response: I CAN GO TO MINOT, PICK ON 11-25 OR 11-26-07 I DO HAVE CARGO INSURANCE, NO I DON'T HAVE ANY TEMP. PLATES, CAN THE SLEDS BE TOWER ON IT'S TRAILER? THANKS WALBERT52 (11/15/2007)
Response: yes they can be towed on this brand new trailer if i get plates or temp insurance. 26th is the best for me. do you have insurance for accidents or damage????? (11/15/2007)
Response: YES I CAN HAVE MY AGENT FAX BYOU A COPY WHEN YOU HAVE ACCEPTED MY BID THANKS (11/16/2007)
Question: Looking at the low bidder's personal profile page, there is a better than average chance that his "cargo" insurance is the Property Damage limit on his personal insurance policy. If so, it will not cover your sleds in the event of an accident. (11/15/2007)
Response: thanks for the info how do i check it out Arron? Chris (11/15/2007)
Response: The TSP would fax you a form showing his insurance info and most importantly, showing you as the payee on the sleds in event of a loss. Since these are brand-new sleds, you don't want to roll the dice to save a couple hundered bucks...I wouldn't anyway! (11/15/2007)
Response: tsp??? keep the valuable info coming my friend. Chris (11/15/2007)
Response: I suppose that acronym might look like some sort of official agency regulating the insurance industry, eh? It means transportation service provider. :-) (11/15/2007)
Response: i appreciate your help and concern Aaron. Is there no way you can transport the trailer and sleds for me. Maybee a bigger flat bed????Thanks, Chris (11/15/2007)
Response: Chris, I will be ordering a much larger trailer very soon, but am hamstrung by my current setup. I am in the process of setting up my operation currently and should be ready to roll with everything in place by the start of '08. (11/16/2007)
Question: I see you had to make a change to shipment let me know what's up thanks walbert52 (11/17/2007)
Response: Sorry walbert52 there was a delay in getting the trailer please check the listing carfully as the dates have changed. Hope this can work with your schedule. THANKS, CHRIS (11/17/2007)
Response: I'll make it work (11/18/2007)
Question: We can accommodate your time frame, we will put your trailer inside our enclosed trailer and we could do this for your target price, let us know Thanks Terry (11/17/2007)
Response: Are sure that it fits inside? it is 101" wide if you can confirm please make bid. Thank you, Chris (11/18/2007)
Response: We are going to drive this up on to an open trailer, we are submitting a bid for you to accept, Thanks Terry (11/18/2007)
