Additional Information: I do not remember everything that is in the storage unit. All of the stuff fits in a 14'ft Uhaul truck. I need someone to meet me at the unit(10 x 15) -in Springville UT, load a truck, and bring it to Chesapeake Beach MD. I will meet you in Chesapeake Beach MD. The distance between the two locations is 2139 miles. Person providing services must provide truck and be able to load at start/unload at destination. Report a Violation

Question: Hello Shipper, I can pick up tomorrow (1 October or 2 October) and deliver within 15 days. I blanket wrap the furniture, Load and Unload, and have full cargo insurance up to $100K. Response: Good morning, Michael; Thank you for your fast response. Because I need to fly in from MD to UT first, I can't do this as quickly. I wasn't prepared to receive so fast a response. This is the 2nd time we have used Uship- 1st time our guy was AMAZING, Evan McDonough, and we have become friends even, but it did take some time to find him. The 2nd item is cost. The max budgeted is $1200, which is $500 below what you are placing as cost to us. I am positive you are well worth it, but when we said max, it really is our max or we hurt ourselves financially. The full cost for us includes my flights and hotel, as well as paying you. Are you willing to lower your bid? If we could afford to pay more, we would accept your bid, hands down, based on comments about your work. Please let me know. I would prefer not to go over our max, but if no other bids come in or come close to your price, we will have to figure out a way to make your bid work for us financially. I await your answer. Question: Hello, when are you looking to make this move? Can a truck and 40 ft. trailer park close to the storage unit in UT and then again at delivery? If your timing is right I will be able to move your items for your max price. Thanks for your time, Ken (9/30/2009)
Response: Ken, I just need to purchase plane tickets. Please give me a range of dates from now thru the end of October, no later than the middle of November. Roads get kind of nasty in UT after that, if not sooner. Now, before we seal the deal so to speak, I would like to be perfectly clear-we are asking you to load, move it to our new location, and unload when you arrive. You are accepting the job for $1200, if our timing matches. Am I correct? If the answer is yes, and our time matches (ie you have a range of dates I can purchase a plane ticket for-that work for my schedule as well, and meet you there), then we will accept your bid. Response: Nic, thanks for the reply. Why would you need to fly to Utah, if we make a deal you could send the key to the storage unit manager and if there isn't one you could send me the key.It would be nice if you could put some of the airfare money toward this move. Loading and unloading plus driving over 2100 miles should be worth a little more than $1200. I will also need to know if my truck and trailer will be able to park close to the storage unit as well as the delivery addresses entry door. Can you remember if you have anything in the storage unit that will require two men to move? I just want to make sure I can make everything work before posting a bid. I should be making a delivery to Orem UT on or about Oct. 12th. If we can get this worked out I could pickup your belongings within a day or two of that and if at all possible wait a week or so to deliver them to you. Let me know your thoughts, Ken (10/1/2009)
