Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, we are NYC-based piano movers and our price range for that job is $750-$1050 depending on steps, stairs, uneven or unpaved ground involved in the move. We like to keep our prices down so I can let you know as the trip approaches. Thanks, John -- NYC Piano Movers (5/5/2006)
Response: Hi, John. There are no steps in the pick-up location other than a shallow step outside and all ground inside and out is even and paved. At the delivery location, there are two steps outside leading up to the front door and nothing else. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could give me a rough idea (June? July?) of when you think this shipment would take place. For me, the earlier the better. thank you. (5/5/2006)
Question: 700.00 in fuel and 104.00 to uship id say 1300.00 is more then acceptable. (5/7/2006)
Response: that's uship's opinion. i've gotten bid lower than yours. sorry. (5/7/2006)
Question: Hi there? Can this be done tomorrow? I have a truck and a driver coming through there. The truck has pads, dollies, piano board, straps etc. If you were able to provide a helper to assist in loading, we can pickup tomorrow evening for $700 door to door. What say you? By the way, be sure to check our feedback on this site. (5/8/2006)
Response: hello. it could be done, but i'm afraid i wouldn't be able to provide a helper other than an elderly couple (my parents) who live at the pick-up location. do two elderly people who can maybe hold the door for you qualify as one helper? you tell me. if it's a go, let me know if you are insured and how you need to be paid. thanks for your bid. (5/8/2006)
Question: Hi there! I could load this on Saturday and deliver it to you on Sunday night. I could do this for $650. Let me know, Thanks Todd (5/10/2006)
Response: that sounds great, todd! but which saturday and sunday are you talking about? also please let me know if you have experience transporting pianos. thank you. (5/10/2006)
Question: Greetings-I may be able to help actually. "Toolman" here. Please see my profile & feedback 1st however. Pianos are our specialty, & this is our 3rd Yr. here on Uship. We will be heading to Tx. in a couple of weeks, & if you can wait just a little, I can probably do this for 775.total. Does this sound closer to your target price? We are based out of Pittsburgh, & we return there after this trip. So del. to Jersy would be a snap for us. Thank you. (5/10/2006)
Response: that sounds good. so what would be your estimated pick-up and delivery date? and how do i accept your bid unless you put a bid in for me to accept or decline? (5/10/2006)
Question: Thanks for the quick response. I would pick up this Saturday and deliver the next day. Have handled plenty of pianos. Please check my feedback, if you have any questions about my services. Piano would be pad wrapped and shrink wrapped. My truck is equipped with a lift gate and an air-ride suspension for a smoother ride. Let me know if those dates work, and I will submit my bid, Thanks Todd (5/10/2006)
Response: saturday pick-up sounds good, but i was just puzzled as to how you could transport a piano from oklahoma to new jersey in one day. that's a lot of driving in 24 hours! but if you can do it, all the more power to you. please go ahead and submit your bid. thank you. (5/10/2006)
Question: I am loading my truck, here in Dallas, TX tomorrow. I want to make sure that I leave enough room for the piano before I place my bid. I plan on leaving Dallas early Saturday and loading around lunch time. I will then drive another 10 hrs. I have a pick up Sunday sometime in Reading, PA, then head directly to you which should be late Sunday afternoon(early evening). A lot of driving but that's the story of my life. Look forward to working with you, Todd (5/10/2006)
Response: hi, todd. sounds great. whenever you get around to placing a bid, i will accept it. (5/10/2006)
