Questions for this shipment:

Question: can skid be moved easily with pallet jack? (1/7/2009)
Response: I really don't know. As I understand it this is a skid made from 2" or 3" angle iron. (1/7/2009)
Response: well ... could you find out? ... driver / carrier must be able to handle with pallet jack or forklift ... if not then would the shipper (or originating location) be willing to place & secure engine to a suitable pallet / skid so as to be acceptable for transport by common carrier service? ... THX (1/8/2009)
Response: Owner says he will lift with engine hoist in order to back trailer under or to move pallet jack in place. (1/10/2009)
Question: Iam interested in this shipment will be in WA. in a week I could haul in back of f350 ford If there is someone to help load and unload let me know and I will place bid I will give you a better price then what you have had so far. Thanks kenny (1/12/2009)
Response: Yes, the owner is retired & says he will lift with engine hoist. I'm assuming it can lift to the height of your tailgate. I first have to get a cashier's check to the owner. Also, are your shipments insured to the value of the cargo? (1/13/2009)
Response: Thank you for you quick response Iam still trying to line up east coast to west coast run.Iam completly insured with $1,000,000.00 in liablity and $100,000.00 cargo.Iam legal dot shipper.I will know more in a couple of day if route is booked so you would have plenty of time to handle things. As far as price you be looking at about $225.00 I will get back with you in a few days to let you know. Thanks Kenny (1/13/2009)

Response: Kenny, Can you give me an idea as to when you will be in the Seattle/ Everett area in order to pickup this engine? I'm personally not in a hurry for it but I need to tell the owner what to expect so I can complete the transaction. Thanks, Gary (1/19/2009)
Response: Sorry Ive been away from my computer the last couple of days.I am still waiting for my route to confirm,I thought they would have done this a day or two ago>please give me a couple of more days I will push the issue with them.I will let you know so you want be left hanging Thank You for your patience Kenny (1/19/2009)
Response: Kenny, I didn't hear from you on Friday & I'm assuming that means you can't make this shipment for me. (1/25/2009)
Question: How will it be unloaded? (2/2/2009)
Response: I have a 1000# capacity hoist mounted on a carport beam with 10' clearance. If you're using a lowboy trailer I can slide it down ramps that I have. Don't know what trailer choices you may have but a lowboy or a liftgate trailer would be best. I'm very flexible on delivery dates. Thanks, Gary (2/2/2009)
Question: sorry not in that area right now Jim (2/3/2009)
