If everyone wants a back haul then no one makes money! And every shipper I see these days thinks they are the one special person that should get that back haul! Dedicated items are a buck a mile. Question: $500 to haul a boat on a dedicated load 2400 miles comes to $0.20 cents per mile. Gas costs most of us between $0.28 to $0.30 a mile. You might get lucky and find someone to do it for that, but they would be stupid for doing it. $1600.00 would be a bare minimum. No one in their right mind is going to essentially PAY YOU to move your boat. (2/18/2006)

Response: Yes. This site is a great idea. Unfortunately when you have anger knuckle heads send you messages not pertaining to your shipment, that message in the system appears as a question so you are compelled into a dialog because as a shipper you MUST answer the question. The boat is all ready to go. As far as another drop off point, it would depend on where it was, when it would be there and of curse $$. (6/3/2006)
