Question: Do you have a price in mind? (11/7/2007)

Response: I would like to pay under $1,000. (11/7/2007)

Response: Can you tell me how many steps are involved and if there is a long walk etc?? (11/7/2007)

Response: Sorry for the delay in responding. On the pick up end, it's a ranch style house - no steps, but a short walkway from the bedroom to the driveway or roadway.
On the delivery end, it is a short walk into the house. There are 3 low steps into the house. The sofas and loveseat will go on the ground floor. The bedroom furniture will go to the second floor, which is up one flight of stairs. The stairs to the second floor go up 4-5 steps, have a landing, then continue about 5-6 more steps. (11/9/2007)

Response: Thanks for your response. I have a guy now in CA loading to head back east by Monday. He still has time to get this for you and could deliver in about 10 days. He has been a professional mover for 40 years. He now delivers antique furniture for me to the west coast out of Baltimore. He drives a brand new truck with new 28' enclosed trailer. Very clean and professional. All items are guaranteed to arrive safe. If you can let me know sort of quickly what you think is a reasonable fee to pay I will place a bid and get this to you. I know the $1700 you have so far is high. Somewhere a little more than half that and I can get this done for you. Let me know at your earliest convenience. Thanks MP (11/9/2007)

Response: OK. Great. I can accomodate a pick-up this weekend. Can you do it for $850? Including disassembly (of bed frame and 2-piece armoire), pack, load, transport, unload, inside delivery and re-assembly of bed frame and armoire. I'd like to pay by credit card. I'll stay on my computer till I hear back from you. (11/9/2007)

Response: Sorry to keep you waiting. I went out for a short while then came back and wanted to confirm with my driver before responding. I have since left a bid. (11/9/2007)
