Response: Hi, Not sur eon the dates yet as wehave not found a home in Virginia. Might be more towards the end of November timeframe. Loved all your positive responses. Question: hello, If your horses are ready to travel I can pick them up this week, probably wednesday. My farm is about 30 minutes from Powhatan and we can keep your mares there unitl you find a place. I stop each night at a horse hotel and the horses are off of the trailer for at least 10 hours with plenty of exercise, hay,and water. Of course these overnights arent free, they cost me an average of $20.00 to $25.00 per night per horse. Therefore my bid will be higher than most but your horses will have excellent care. We could pick up your horses the first week of November, for $1500.00. We are headed your horses direction. So, your horse would be a perfect pickup! We take pride in transporting your horse safely, comfortably, and in a timely manner. We are avid horse lovers and we will love and care for your horse, as if it were our own. All horses are provided with fresh shavings daily, free feed, on the feed of your choice, and fresh water is supplied at all times, plus we make lots of stops to let horses rest. Included in our price is the cost of overnight boarding, we stop every 10-12 hours, to let the horses off the trailer. Response: Yes, they can be transported anywhere from the 26th on. I am hoping that I can get hem picked up by the 28th and make it here to Virginia by the 1st of December. (11/16/2007)

Response: Hello again, we can transport your horses in three seperate box stalls for $2500.00 or we can tranport your horses for $1643.39 in a 4 horse stall, which they would still have plenty of room in. Which would you prefer? And yes we could pickup your horses 11/28 and deliver then 12/1. We stop every 10-12hrs to let them off the trailer, overnight boarding costs are included in this bid. Question: Do you know what it will cost you and the shipper to get your horses out of IMPOUND with out Current Coggins and Health Papers? (11/18/2007)

Response: No, I don't but years of showing and moving horses have never be stopped on the road. Only at shows have I had to show a coggins cert. My horses are healthly. I do understand the concern though. (11/18/2007)

Question: At least 2 states will have Livestock checks when entering. You have'nt hauled interstate have you or you were just lucky. (11/18/2007)

Response: No mostly through Texas, some in Michigan. What is the cost? I am not trying to get away with anything just made a mistake on my part. Which states require this? Any suggestions, I give my horses all ther shots and the last coggins was last year. (11/18/2007)

Response: All you have to do is call a Vet to make a ranch call. They will probably charge you $40 for this and they will charge around $40 for Coggins and $30 for Health papers. The Coggins could take up to 10 days if the vet sends it off. But, I'm sure you can find a Vet that does their own lab work. Good luck and be wary of haulers willing to haul without this paper work.
