Question: Wondering if you still have this boat to move. The bids you are receiving are higher due to cost of DOT permits for your area of the country. I am willing to discount this haul 10% - if you can accept my offer and pay the deposit to secure the dates offered. (8/27/2006)
Response: I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING YOUR OFFER. HOW MUCH DO YOU REQUIRE FOR A DEPOSIT AND WHEN DO YOU NEED IT BY? THE BOAT IS CURRENTLY AT A MARINA IN THE WATER. WOULD YOUR TRAILER BE ABLE TO SLIP UNDER THE BOAT AT A BOAT RAMP? IF SO, I WILL MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE SOMEONE THERE TO DRIVE THE BOAT ON TO YOUR TRAILER. I WILL CHECK WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO SEE IF EVERYTHING IS COVERED. FINALLY, WHEN WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT THE BOAT TO SHEBOYGAN, WI? I AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE. Question: Thanks for the response. We would be ready for your boat haul early in the week of 9/11. We require a 50% paid deposit to schedule and confirm your haul dates. We would prefer that a boat of this size be lifted from the water, dry blocked by the marina before we arrive to load. Let me know if you have any questions! MREMarine (8/30/2006)
Response: We will send you a deposit of $1,500 and will pay the remaining amount upon delivery. I trust you agree. I will be contacting the marina to make arrangements to have the boat removed from the water and pressure washed. In this regard, I need an approximate time frame when you would be getting to Brick, NJ? Also, please let me know if the canvas top should be dropped prior to shipment, since it is a new canvas?
