Response: hi i'm trying to get ahold of the seller to confirm on tomorrow but just an answwering machine, casn you do it for $500? i have 2 other bids for $500 as i have to pay another 13% tax when i get to the border as well as $204 vehical import tax on the trailer to bring it into canada and i already paid too much in the first place for it, you know how these auctions go,haha. another thing,the trailer only has those 8 inch wheels, how do you thind theyd hang out going that distance and what happens if a tire goes or a bearing, he said the tires are good and they have bearing buddies on them which everyone says,i just dont want to get a bill for $500 for tire repair,thanks (6/17/2008)
Response: The tires should be OK a spare would be handy just in case, I carry a grease gun with me that bI'll grease the bearing every 400 to 500 miles anyway. I'll do it for 550 cash US thanks walbert52 I don't have to cross the border, do I???? (6/17/2008)
Response: no you dont have to cross the border.i'b be greasing them every 100 miles if it was me,i hate breakdowns.what does happen if you have a blow out or a bearing failure? i'm still trying to get ahold of the seller tonight and i'll keep trying in the morning if i dont hear back tonight, thanks (6/17/2008)
Response: If I had a spare I could change the tire, I can try to get one at Wal Mart if you want me to. It's only a little over 600 mile trip, it's not like going over 2,000 miles, which I have many times. (6/17/2008)
Response: ok you know best. i just get nervous bringing items that far.i got an email from the seller just now ,he said tomorrow after 5pm would work for him or it would have to be the first of next week if that didnt work, he said he is working late thursday and going to his cottage after work on friday, i dint really know when you where thinking of picking it up. let me know if that works for you at all. thanks.
