Question: HI; headed there right away. Can this be ready by this weekend? It will be $300 for this time frame. GJ&CJ (10/16/2007)

Response: Yes it could be ready for pickup between now and Friday.
Pickup is Mamaroneck Boat Boat and Motors,[address removed] Mamaroneck NY 10543. - discharge at Webbers Cove Boat Yard, Morgan Bay Rd
Blue Hill, ME 04614
[phone number removed]
Lift on and off by boatyard equipment. (10/17/2007)

Response: I should be in ohio friday. could it be later than that? GJ&CJ (10/17/2007)

Response: Yes -later is OK but crane not operated on weekends. (10/17/2007)

Response: That's alrght if it only weighs 300 lb. I will just throw it on by hand. GJ&CJ (10/17/2007)

Response: Well -300 lbs is an estimate. I really have not weighed it but it is a steel cradle and maybe somewhat heavier. I would think it would take 4 guys , one in each end to lift it. (10/17/2007)

Response: Well I'll let you know when I get closer, be easier to say exactly when I will be through there. Then we will figure it out somehow. GJ&CJ
(10/17/2007)

Response: OK sorry about the weight - I will edit it and say 600 lbs .. but I have never seen anyone lift it, so obviously heavy. (10/17/2007)

Response: Yea that's alright. If I still have room and you have an overhead beam or stout tree limb I'll get it on there. I have a two ton COME-A-LONG that will do the lifting, then I'll back the trailer under it. GJ&CJ (10/17/2007)

Response: Since this is a boat yard they are constantly moving stuff around and right now you could not get to it. When are you exactly coming so maybe I can get the yard here to position it high for you so you can just back under it. How high off the ground should it be etc. What kind of a rig do you have. I will be around the whole weekend so I can meet you here. (10/18/2007)

Response: From what it looks like now saturday at earliest sunday at latest. At least 3ft from the ground will do. My rig is a RAM 3500 pulling a 17ft flatbed. I've got a forklift on the front so that will leave us 14ft to work with. That's good you will be there. GJ&CJ (10/18/2007)

Response: Hi
I don't know if you got my previous reply.
First of all we need to finalize this and I guess you have to submit a formal offer. If $ 300 is it I will accept that.
If we have a deal I will try to get the yard here to have the cradle accessible for you off the ground over the weekend. (10/18/2007)

Response: Sounds like a plan. Can I get you a bid tomarrow? I'm already behind schedule; need to hit the road. GJ&CJ (10/18/2007)

Response: Okay - fine
I will have everything ready for this weekend so you can load it off the boat storage rack it is on now. It also has a second tier which should provide overhead beams for you in case you have to lift it. How do you want to get paid ?
Hans (10/19/2007)

Response: Sounds perfect; cash if you can but personel check could work to. GJ&CJ (10/19/2007)
