Question: Shipper. I will be in Tenn., around the 22nd. We can get it to VA in a day or two. Full DOT authority and $200K cargo insurance. Since we are VA based, I will do it for $1400. I need some specs on the keel and mast.We have a trailer especially for sailboats. Let the professionals take care of you. Response: The boat will not be ready to ship on 10/22. Keel is solid, Bulb style, draft is 5'-0". Mast is 35'-0". Boat shipping plan: A) I will deliver boat to Blue Springs Marina, week of 10/15/2007. Mast is down, with roller furling stay lashed to mast, and may well transport in current position, lashed to pulpit (fore) and permanent gallows(aft). B) Blue Springs Marina to haul out, clean, and bottom paint. C) Shipper to pick up boat @ Blue Springs Marina, and deliver to Deltaville Yachting Center. D) Deltaville Yachting Center to offload and store dry for spring relaunch. (10/15/2007)
