Question: Hello - would the shipper (or originating location) be willing to place & secure boxed item to a suitable pallet / skid so as to be acceptable for transport by common carrier service? ... THX (6/8/2009)
Response: The shipping end says it'll be on a pallet so you can pick it up with a forklift. But we have no forklift on the receiving end. It'll need some man-handling. Thanks, Preston (6/9/2009)
Response: excellent and as per your reply bid rated: “Business to Residential” with liftgate service curbside for pickup & inside delivery ... Shipper (consignor) to load item(s) onto liftgate & Consignee to assist with unload of same from liftgate / inside delivery ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX ($65 cost saving can be realized with delivery only to curbside instead of inside delivery ... you get your neighbors or others to help with getting it inside once truck has delivered to curbside ... let me know if preferable & will re-rate to suit.)
