Response: a professional pool table refinisher replied to me with this quote "With that table there is no precision work really, you can get 4 guys to turn it on its side unbolt the legs and carry the whole table out of the house, they are actually made to do so." His company only re-felts them. This is a bar style one slate pool table from the 60's, I know nothing about pool or pool tables! (11/15/2007)

Response: There are 12 steps. It is a suberban home. I bought the table from a stranger, so I haven't been to the house but I think it will need to come up the stairs through the front door. (11/16/2007)
