Questions for this shipment:

Question: Does this table need to be disassembled ? Is it 3 pieces of slate ? I will be in Ca between the 26th and 18th and headed back to the east coast with in 14 days. Please check out our profile and feedback and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks ~ Mike (11/1/2009)
Response: Yes it needs to be disassembled. I believ it has 3 pieces of slate, but cannot quarantee that. What is you experience with moving pool tables? How do you pack it? What about the cloth? I am looking to keep the cost low and having it fill your truck may be perfect for both of us. (11/1/2009)
Response: I have moved many pool tables, I have disassembled everyone of them myself. I can do this during the dates I have said prior. I would charge 850.00 if you have the help to load the pieces onto my truck. after disassembling the table I wrap all the pieces in cloth blankets, The slate is loaded and strapped against the wall. Everything will be covered under my cargo insurance. Please let me know if you have any future questions. Thanks ~ Mike (11/1/2009)
Response: your price is reasonable but we do not have people at either end who can help with such a heavy item. et me know if things change (11/4/2009)
Response: I can pick between the 13th and 17th. My fee is 1050.00.I will disassemble, wrap, load, and deliver for this price. If you would like it reassembled, it would be 1500.00. Please check my profile and feedback and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks ~ Mike (11/4/2009)
Response: do you crate the slate, not just strap it to the wall. What do you do with the cloth? (11/5/2009)
Response: Thanks for your response. No that is not crating the slate. If you would like the slate crated it would be 600.00 more. I have moved many, many of pool tables some here on Uship. I never crate the slate, Just like marble, glass, mirrors, etc, as long as you load the slate correctly on it's side with a strip of rubber underneath and piece of rubber in between each piece, then stop them to the wall they will be fine. I have 150.000.00 cargo insurance. so you are well protected. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks ~ Mike (11/5/2009)
Question: Our bid is for complete and professional white glove billiard service. Please read our feedbacks and discover why we are ranked #1 on Uship for pool table moves. All we do is pool tables. We literally travel the entire lower 48 United States moving pool tables in a 16ft. box truck with liftgate and climate controlled box. Thanks, Brent aka Cuesports World in Evansville, Indiana (11/5/2009)
Question: are you still needing this done ? (11/7/2009)
Response: Possibly holding off for now. When do you leave So Cal? (11/8/2009)
Response: I'll be leaving California between the 25th and 30th of Nov. (11/8/2009)
Response: we are still considering doing the shipment with you but I have a few more questions. Do you take the legs off of the frame in order to move it in and out of the home? Do you roll up the green/cloth? When you drop if off in Maryland and put it in our house how to you lay it out. I will be having a local table company put it together and they have been asking me these questions. Thanks, -Doug (11/12/2009)
Response: Yes we will take the legs off, we unbolt them from the frame, we will roll the felt, and as for us laying the pieces out I can put them where ever you would like. I told you I can put it back together if you would like and depending on the condition of the felt now, you my choose to get new felt, color and type is a personal preference. Let me know because I am practically full, I can probably still get this, but it's getting close. I always have my jobs prearranged before I get to the west coast. Thanks ~ Mike (11/12/2009)
Question: We are Uship's #1 provider for pool table moving. We only move pool tables, and have been an active billiard retail store in Evansville, Indiana for the past 12 years. I am also an avid pool player, and am expanding my business since this downturned market forced us to look outside our local market to survive. Your table will never leave our professional hands, and we are highly trained in the moving of all kinds of billiard products. We also of you the opportunity to verually shop with us as well, and I offer full cue repair from tip to bumper on all cues on my truck. I am a rolling billiard store with all the amenities of walking into Cuesports World in Evansville, Indiana. I am slashing my price for this job just because I will be in the area for your pickup, and currently have room. I do fill up quickly, and I am in great demand. I install for Diamond Billiards, Pool Tables Direct, and multiple other websites and manufacturers. Please, do you have any further questions? (11/13/2009)
Question: Are you still needing this table moved? I am now filling up. I currently have room for your table, but I only have room for one more now out of California. I only operate out of a 16 ft box truck, so my space is limited to about 6-8 tables give or take depending on the table. I will need to save space for you if needed, but I do not save space until that job is officially booked, and you can understand why I am sure. I am not trying to rush you, but me being the only true billiard mechanic moving pool tables long distance, I am in great demand. I only move pool tables, and I own my own billiard store in Evansville, Indiana. You can even recover through me or buy additional accessories. I am a rolling retail store. I do not need to "find out what is needed for proper tear down or setup." I already know how to do all this and transport your table safely and efficiently. Please read our feedbacks, and realize you are in good billiard hands. Thanks, Brent Stembridge (11/16/2009)
Response: Brent- My brother Arthur will be emailing or calling you about this table as we have decided to ship it to Northern California instead. Hopefully you can still do the job and work out a good price as it is only a move within California. (11/16/2009)
Response: Here is how to formulate the bid from my formula. The shipping is $.75 from pickup to dropoff. Simply, use mapquest to find out this charge, and then add the handling portion to get the final quote. Then the "handling" of the table which is the tear down, packaging, load, haul, unload (to entry floor with no stairs to speak of), and complete setup. There is no discount for doing ANY portion of this yourself. This charge for a 9ft table is $495. Stairs will be $50- $75 surcharge depending on the severity of the incline and number of stairs transgressed. Then this site charges us what they call our "match fees," and that is some percentage of the bid. So this site can offer this. Do not accept this bid, but do a update to this auction, and I will rebid. I will be going from southern to northern CA in this run beore dec 15th. I have very limited space left on my truck right now, so I need you to make a decision asap. Thanks, Brent Stembridge owner of Cuesports World in Evansville, Indian (11/17/2009)
