Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello My name is Jeremy with Hire A Hand Moving. I came across your ad and are interested in assisting. As you can see in my feedback I have done several moves such as this for uship and many more outside uship. I will be heading to LA at the end of the month arriving on the 1st. If she was able to meet us somewhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth and you would be willing to meet somewhere in the LA area for pickup I would be able to transport it for a flat rate of 125.00 If this works for you let me know and I can then place a foraml bid and we can then get in personal contact. Thank You Jeremy Hire A Hand (12/26/2006)
Response: Hi Jeremy, I sent you a prior e-mail, but I don't know if you received it. Apparently I unknowingly violated a Uship rule by putting my number in the prior message. Yes, I would like you to bring me my pinball machine for $125.00 flat,,,assuming you have an enclosed truck. The machine is currently wrapped in plastic. Do you have pads, blankets and straps to protect and secure it? My sister lives On 8th Avenue in Fort Worth. She is within 3 - 5 minutes of Interstates 20, 30, and 35. Given that she is that close to the Interstates, perhaps you can stop at her house and get the machine. I assume you will arriving to California on either I-10 or I-405. Either route works for me and I am willing to meet you on January 1, 2007, when we identify a time and place. I have never used Uship before, so I'm not sure what happens from here. Please let me if this will work for you. Brian (12/27/2006)
Question: I could move this for you over the next several days. My question is height. You state 24". I have 80" deep, 48" wide, and 36" tall available. It sure looks like more than 36" tall to me though. Does the upright part come off so it can ship as 2 pieces? If not, the only way I could move it would be on it's side which is probably a bad idea. Thanks. Darrell (12/29/2006)
Response: Hi Darrell, I have more accurate info from Mmy sister. The machine is already broke down into three parts. The legs, playing field and back board. There are four legs about 45" tall. The flaying field is 22 wide, 53 long, and 21 tall. The back board is 29 wide, 31 tall and 12 deep. All three pieces wrapped in blankets and stacked should easily fit into your space. She tells me the weight is more like 250 lbs Can you give me some particulars about the move will happen - Will you pick it up from my sister's house or does she have to bring it to you (she lives within minutes of the 20, 30 and 35 fwy)? Will you blanket wrap it? Does it need to be on a pallet? How will I get possession of it here in So. Cal.? What is the cost? is the cost firm, so could it change upon pick-up? Brian (12/29/2006)
Question: Hi! Do you still need this moved? I can load next weekend and have it delivered within two days. I can do this for $200(door to door). Let me know, Thanks Todd (12/31/2006)
Response: Yes, I still need this machine shipped. I had it set up for shipping, but the shipper had a problem at the last minute. If you ship this will this be transported in an enclosed carrier? Will you pad it with blankets? This machine is by no means an heirloom, but I would like it handled with care. (12/31/2006)
Question: Thank you for the response. I have a moving truck with a lift gate. Pinball machine will be pad wrapped. If you any questions about my services, please check my feedback. I will place my bid once I can give you concrete dates. Thanks Todd (1/1/2007)
Response: Thanks, Please set an offer as soon as you get some concrete dates. My family can be home just about any time on the weekends, mid week will likely be evenings. A target of next weekend would be great. Your bid of 200 is higher than others I have received, but your timing is better. I an anxious to get the machine here to California. Brian (1/1/2007)
Question: I will know something on Thursday or early Friday morning. I will let you know as soon as I can, Thanks Todd (1/2/2007)
Question: Brian, my trip out to Ca postponed until next week. Looks like I could load next Friday or Saturday. I will keep you updated on my schedule. Thank you for your patience, Todd (1/5/2007)
Question: Brian, my schedule has changed... again. I can load on Sunday(7th) around lunchtime and deliver on Tuesday(9th) afteenoon/evening. Let me know if these dates work for you, Thanks Todd (1/5/2007)
