Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello. I am new to uship. My name is Roger and I live in Sheridan. I currently work out past the airport and am trying to get my hot shot business up and running. I see here where you have listed enclosed cargo area. I do not have enclosed cargo area but do have lots of blankets and pads and would take lots of extra special care of your piano. I do have a dolly in which to load it. I guess my question is, if taken well care of is an enclosed cargo area 100% required and would there be anyone at all there to help load it? I could do it on my own I am just curious. I would certainly appreciate the time to work for you and get started with Uship. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (8/3/2006)
Response:
Hi thanks for responding. I don't have a problem with an uncovered truck, especially if you have lots of blankets. I think the piano should be tied down and secured extremely well to the vehicle. The highway up to Fayetteville is easy enough to navigate. And there are no stairs at the pick-up location in LR and only two up and two down in the Fayetteville (drop-off) location. Let me know what you think. Thanks Mollie The piano is an upright not a grand. (8/3/2006)
Question:
Hi, My wife and I could pick up your piano between 8/22-06-8/24/06 and move it straight through for $300.00. We have a custom 44 foot enclosed trailer and a 2006 3500 Chevy Dually truck with tie downs, blankets and dollies. Please check out our perfect feedback and let us know if this will work for you and I will place a formal bid. Thanks, Mark (markmwit) (8/4/2006)
Response:
Those dates are good for me. I want to let you know that there are no stairs at the pick-up location and only two up and then two down at the drop off. So let's plan on this, please let me know which date you decide on and I will call my aunt in Little Rock. Thanks MollieT (8/4/2006)
Question:
Hi, We will have a better idea of the exact date the week of the 21st. Are you both flexible for the 22nd-24th? Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/4/2006)
Response:
hey mark, have you decided whether or not you can deliver this piano? thanks, mollie (8/11/2006)
Question:
Hi, I can't bid right now. Please give me until the 11th to review my other shipments. I want to make sure I can do your piano move for you. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/8/2006)
Response:
Oh, I thought you gave me a bid of $300.00? Maybe I misunderstood. Those date are good for my aunt and me, and I will pay you $300.00. As soon as you know, let me know. Thanks a bunch. Mollie (8/9/2006)
Question:
I believe I could provide transportation on 8/25 at about 11:30. Could you give me the size (L x W x H) of the piano? (8/11/2006)
Response:
you know i don't have the exact measurements, it is not a grand or baby grand piano. it is an upright, but it does not have a tall top. my guess is that upright pianos are a semi standard size. it does have a bench also. so the piano is probaly 3.5 feet tall and 4 feet wide and 2.5 feet deep. how much is your bid. and the 25th at 11:30am should me fine. thanks mollie (8/11/2006)
Question:
Hi Mollie, Thanks for your patience. I will place a bid now. Thanks, Mark (markwmit) (8/11/2006)
Response:
hi there just checked my e-mail. i'll respond to the bid. (8/12/2006)
