Carrier transporting the vehicle(s) or cargo will only accept cash due upon pickup or delivery please have funds available to expedite transport. Time frames given are estimate, actual times will vary due to traffic, road conditions, weather and a host of other events. Please allow plenty of time for the delivery, a minimum of 5 - 7 days is recommended. We try to deliver in the shortest time possible. If the driver transporting the vehicle(s) or cargo feels he cannot maneuver or operate his truck at a destination location or neighborhood, it is the responsibility of the client to meet the driver for safe delivery of vehicle(s) or cargo at a location close to the client’s home or business.
The Department of Transportation requires that all outstanding freight charges be paid without deduction, before your car can be taken off the truck, the total amount owed must be paid in full with cash. Any damages should be properly noted while the driver is present, obtain any necessary information from the driver. Damage claims must be made within 5 days of delivery with pictures of specified damages claimed. Shipper is responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) or cargo for transport.
All loose parts fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, fog lights, antennas, etc., must be removed and or properly secured. Any part that falls off in transit is shipper's responsibility, including damages done by said part to any and all vehicles involved. If damage to the vehicle or cargo should occur, all money owed for the transport must be paid to the carrier to initiate a claim. Damage must be properly noted on the Bill of Lading and signed by both the carrier and shipper. Without proper notation of damage on the carrier's Bill of Lading, shipper verifies that the vehicle or cargo was received in good condition. Carrier must be notified by phone within 24 hours of delivery of any damage. Carrier will support shipper in filing insurance claims. Claims are to be filed directly with carrier's insurance. If the vehicle is valued at a higher than market rate, we suggest the purchase of a special insurance rider. Neither Plymouthshipn nor the carrier will be held responsible for vandalism, acts of nature (fire, flooding, hail, sand storms, tornadoes, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, etc.) or objects flying from the road or falling from the sky during transport. Shippers should maintain their own insurance for these reasons. Plymouthshipn and the carrier are not responsible for the transport of personal items in the vehicle.
