Response: Please don't take offense to me turning down your bids. I do understand that shipping does cost money. I was an owner operator for ATLAS van lines for 10 years, and I realize there are costs involved, and that movers work hard for their money. Perhaps I am looking at how shipping companies are using u-ship from the wrong perspective. I would assume that you would have your main big shipments going to these places, then add on a few extra single or small pieces from u-ship that are going to the same area, and use that money to cover your fuel, help, and food for the big shipment. This way when you get paid for your linehaul, you get to keep all of it insted of having to pay your expenses out of it. I might be totally wrong in looking at sending things through u-ship, and the way carriers are using u-ship. Please don't take offense to this offer but it is the most I can do. Both Fl shipments for $150 a piece, and I will help you load them at pick-up. Thanks have a blessed day! (3/29/2007)

If you will place the $200 bid for the NY shipment, I will accept it, and you can pick it up on your way back up.
