Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, Do you think it would fit on a Uhaul trailer? (10/1/2007)
Response: Sorry, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a uHaul car trailer to be honest. The sizes for tire track sizes are 58 Inches Wide at the Rear 57 Inches wide at the front 100 Inches front tire to back tire Ground Clearance is about 5.5 Inches Hope this helps. I suspect it would be fine as long as it's well chained down (don't want to rely on the parking brake). Richard (10/1/2007)
Response: Thanks, I am really asking if it is a 2 door or the big Quattroporte model, which I think is too big...what model is it? (10/1/2007)
Response: It is a 1974 Maserati Khamsin (two door with a 2+2 seating configuration). The following web link or table may help. http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z8743/default.aspx Dimensions    Seating Capacity 2+2 Doors 2 Exterior Length 173.201 in | 4399.3 mm. Width 70.901 in | 1800.9 mm. Height 49.001 in | 1244.6 mm. Wheelbase 100.401 in | 2550.2 mm. Front Track 56.701 in | 1440.2 mm. Rear Track 57.901 in | 1470.7 mm. Ground Clearance 5.501 in | 139.7 mm. Thank you, Richard (10/1/2007)
Response: Hi Richard...it weighs 3300 lbs..so no problem...nice Bertone design. I havbe my Alfa GTV Bertone on eBay now until Sunday so may have to deliver it or will get back to you if not (10/2/2007)
Response: great, No rush but this month would be great if possible. My only challenge is that my father (where the car is) is going in for surgery early next week and will not be able to ge the car ready for shipping after this Friday. I will however be on Vancouver Island between Oct.13 and Oct.19. If possible, the timing would be perfect as I could take care of it both in BC and Toronto. Coudl you ball park a price as well. Thank you, Richard (10/2/2007)
Response: I will ball park about $2200. for this. Oct 13/14 might be good..will let you know. (10/2/2007)
Response: Hello, Any chance of picking up the car on the coming weekend (13th/14th)? Thanks (10/9/2007)
Response: Sorry Richard.working on a second chance offers that have not expired yet. Might know by Thurs. I would book other bid if I were you. (10/9/2007)
Response: Thanks you "Unicorn", I appreciate your suggestion and have acepted another bid, I'll keep your contact info handy for future needs. Thanks again. Richard (10/12/2007)
Question: Are you prepared to move car now ?? (10/5/2007)
Response: Hello again, I've spoken with my father now and he unfortunately will not be able to prepare the car this weekend. My flight is scheduled to arrive on the 13th of October around noon. Realistically, I will have the car ready anytime from Oct.14 first thing in the morning onwards until Oct.19. After that, the window for this year is likely gone and we would have to try next Spring. Sorry for this tight timing and I do realize it makes your task more challenging. Hoping it is still possible. Also please rememder that the car does not run and one person will not be able to push/pull it onto the UHaul trailer by themselves. Hoping you can still help. Thank you, Richard (10/5/2007)
Response: Hello ...we will have a car hauler on the Island (Parksville) and he will be coming off the Island 13-14 of October , his trailer will have a winch to pull car onto the trailer...You are going to cover the cost of ferry ?? Its cheaper on the weekend as I understand !! Ferry costs !! (10/7/2007)
Response: Hello, What do I do about insurance? Do you offer it, or do I get my own? Thank you. (10/9/2007)
Response: Next step! I will formally place a bid, if you except the information will faxed to me and Iwill pass it on to our driver (thats on the Island) he will contact you directly by phone ..He is fully aware of your requirements...regards (10/9/2007)
Question: We have cargo insurance up to $150,000.00 (10/9/2007)
