Response: I have a retired uhaul truck and a 8x26 enclosed trailer I think I can haul between 400and 500 per load and 2 loads would be 800-1000 bales and third load would be 200 -400 bales I could do the 2 loads at 1200 per load and if it takes the 3 loads would be able to give a brake on the 3rd load and haul it for 500 that would be 2900 for the 1200 bales if were lucky and it stacks in truck and trailer and could get the 600 bales in 2 loads which I doubt but could see I would still need 1200 for each trip due to fuel cost and weight let me know if you want me to bid this thanks ken (10/12/2007)
Response: Hi, before my other listing expired you stated that for the uhaul and trailer it would be 1100.00 per load. You also stated that you could get possible 400 bales in the u haul or did I misunderstand? As now you state you can get another 100 bales on the same rig. Sorry just trying to make sure we're on the same page. If we can get at least 500 on the load then I think we can do this. The only other questions I have at this point is the increase from 1100.00 to 1200.00 for the load. Tony (10/12/2007)
Response: sorry for confusion first load of hay I tried to load the uhaul and the trailer should hold 400 + . the price is from fuel going back up to 2.95 a gal here.this is how i came up with the numbers the trailer inside is 25'3"x 8'x 6'3" it should hold bales 3'x18"x13" in size between 215 and 245 depends on how stacked and if sizes are exact 36x18x13 if they were 12 in would hold the hire amounts as could fit another layer. the truck is 92"w x 19' 6"L x 85" h plus attic of 44" deep x 22" high x 92 " wide I figure on 220 on the truck for a total of 435-465 on truck and trailer I guessed at 400 to be on the low side this 1018 miles per trip would be 1200 loaded and unloaded we haul if we load and unload would charge 2 men 10.00 ea per hour if you want me to bid let me know and how many trips if i haul all 3 trips for the 1200 bales can give discount will be on third load and will due for the 2900 1200,1200,500 the 3rd trip is less then the fuel hope to find somethingto fill let me know to bid (10/12/2007)
