Good morning. This may be a long shot as far as timing goes, but I will be in Sarasota this afternoon. Would this by chance be available for pickup this quickly. I have a couple of odd job runs(semi-local stuff) to do while assembling a load for my return trip North ad could do this one if it's available. Let me know. Thanks, Howard.

Response: Thanks, but if this afternoon is the only possibility, it probably won't work. I can't reach
the people in the residence now. Let me know if you
have any flexibility.

Response: : Flexible???like a rubber band..LOL I will be back in the area around the end of the week and could pick up then. Like I said, I have a couple of filler runs to do up to Atlanta while I look to fill a load for my return trip North. I would, however, require at least some assist in loading and off loading. Also, what rate were you figuring on with this...? (Be kind, diesel prices ain't what they used to be..lol) Thanks, Howard.

Response: That might work. However, I am not there, so whoever lets you in wouldn't be able to help. It's a second floor condo. I'm sure the battery is dead
on it now, but you would be able to roll it out
to the elevator. If you have a power gate, I think that's all you would need.
As for a price, I need
some kind of bid from you. Thanks.

Response: : Ok...no lift gate here, but...well, never slowed me down before (age does that well enough..lol) I have a generator and batt charger so a dead battery is no problem, and removing the battery will make this puppy A LOT lighter. Is this at a private residence or "nursing" type facility? As for a bid...before I submit one...just 1 more question, is this going to someone disabled, or being resold?

Response: It is now in a condo complex (residential) in Sarasota. It will go to my
mother in law at an assisted living facility in
Lancaster, New York (she has a 1st floor apt).
There is also a small charger with it. Like I said,
I believe the biggest problem will be lifting it
unto a truck.

Response: : Ok...if eeded, I can always put a small ramp together...easy to do and I always carry tools, and since it's for your mom, at a nursinf home setting, I can get it to her for 300.00 cash on delivery. Just let me know if thats OK with you and I'll submit the formal bid. Thanks, Howard.

Response: The price is fine, but are you insured? I wouldn't
mind paying a little extra for that security.
1/28/2008
Response: : I carry full value coverage cargo insurance through State Farm for up to 50,000..and I don't charge extra for it either.

Response: OK, great. Do the formal bid, and we'll make the arrangements.
Thanks,
Jim
