Response: Is the trailer a roller type or fixed bunk? Can you adjust it to the bottom profile of the Monterey? The delivery will be to a ramp at the CT shore most likely in Old Saybrook I am not sure if I can tell you how much I will pay on this form because of red flagging. Response: We can pick up the boat on Mon. I don't understand the money issue. I see 2 active bids one is for $2900 and the other bid is $2395. The 1 low bids is expired and the other person had the account suspended for some reason. This is the problem you get a few low bids and shippers start thinking this should be the price. This is a large boat, the tolls alone will run over $100. We cant come close to $1400. We would like the opportunity to work for you. Maybe we can work out something that is fair to both of us. Don't know how they provide timely service if 2 or 3 of the bids are accepted??? When does your boat get moved? We have no active bids out. We want to work for you. The other bid is based on him getting a return trip back.He has a Toyota pick up truck your boat( I show a dry weight of 6500 lbs, this noes not include fuel or any other weight in the boat)and his trailer would be right at or over the weight limit of that truck. Response: The trailer is a bunk trailer. We have transported as small as 20 ft boats and as large as 35 ft last week. We have never had to adjust the bunks, but they are adjustable. We just transported a 26 ft sea ray very simular to yours it fit perfect. we will load it and check out the bunk placement.In the event we need to adjust we will.What do you think? (6/26/2009)
