Questions for this shipment:

Question: trucker3828 Is this trailer able to haul anything. I found a couple items that I can load on it. Please answer asap so that I may bid on them if I can haul other items on it. I hope you do not allow someone to haul it that does not have a vehicle large enough to haul it legally. If you do and he has an accident, that not only him but u are subject to large fines and lawsuits it there is an accident. The DOT monitors this site and if there is illegal activity being done and it uship allows it, then they are also subject to large fines and lawsuits if there is an accident. (8/24/2006)
Response: The trailer is basically a frame. If the items can be hand loaded and then strapped, then maybe you could. It sits about 41 inches high so no vehicles. It can handle up to 5,000lbs but the brakes are air over hydraulic so they are not compatible with a civilian system. Also the electric is 24 volt. (8/24/2006)
Question: (8/25/2006)
Response: I have gotten offers from other truckers, who are licensed and insured, for close to $1000. Trying to see if anyone can beat that offer. There are plenty of trucks out there that can haul this. (8/25/2006)
Question: This trucker3828 again. I forgot to point out that you are in the middle of nowhere so there is not chance of me or anyone else of getting a load of anywhere near where you live. That is one thing truckers take in consideration of bidding loads, is how far we might have to go to pu up another load. I would say 300 miles at least. Maybe you should just leave it where it is. (8/25/2006)
Response: I dont know what your problem is but I have gotten plenty of offers from other sites and plenty of truckers have offered to bring it to "the middle of nowhere!!!" (8/25/2006)
Question: CAN THIS BE LOADED ON ANOUTHER TRAILER? THANKS PARTMAN66 (8/26/2006)
Response: Yes, it rolls and is about 8 feet wide so if you have a flat bed trailer it should fit. (8/26/2006)
Question: (8/26/2006)
Response: yes (8/26/2006)
Question: I am sorry you miss understood my message, I believe! Again, what range are lloking to pay so I may make a decision. I have several items I can transport with your shippment. I am trying to estimate how much time will be invovled, the hours and days I can pick up, they hours you will recieve it. You failed to put all this in the listing so I can notgive a fair est until I know all of the above. trucker3828 (8/26/2006)
Response: As long as you can unload it yourself, I can recieve whenever you get here. the other information I have posted. (8/26/2006)
Question: CAN THIS BE PICKED UP MONDAY? & WHAT PAPERWORK DO I NEED TO PICK IT UP? THANKS PARTMAN66 (8/26/2006)
Response: This trailer is at an unmanned military site. They have contacted me and said that Thursday Aug 31st is the first day it can be picked up. I have to fax over the drivers info when I chose a driver so all you would need is drivers license, insurance, and registration. (8/26/2006)
Question: Shipper: I don't mind going to the middle of nowhere. As a matter of fact I'm leaving for NM deliveries this week. Seriously, I would be interested in transporting the trailer if I can offer a time frame that is acceptable. It would be the middle of September before I can get it. My proposal would be to transport it on an open gooseneck flatbed trailer. The trailer is the maximum legal width (without permits) of 102" so I don't think there is problem with it fitting on the trailer. I also have a large (16.5 ti) winch mounted on the trailer with loading ramps. I'm a legal motor carrier based in the Midwest. I have all the licenses, DOT#, and insurance required for a common carrier. You can review my profile and verify my DOT# & insurance at ...http://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx..I'm also retired military and my vehicles have base decals so that may be advantageous when picking it up. My price would be $1,398. Let me know if I can be of service. // Thanks, Don (8/27/2006)
Response: Thanks for the offer, but I have someone who might be able to do it for less. (8/27/2006)
Question: Thank you for your response. It is appreciated and I wish you the best with your shipment. // Don (8/27/2006)
Response: your welcome (8/27/2006)
Question: Have you got enough unwanted info. yet ? (8/28/2006)
Response: yes (8/29/2006)
Question: What type of insurances are you looking for? I am looking to put my trucks to good use. (8/28/2006)
Response: The type that will cover the loss of my trailer if you have an accident. (8/29/2006)
