Questions for this shipment:

Question: How is this unit going to be palletized for shipment, I have a 8 foot long rail lift gate rated at 5500 lbs,and a 24' x 102" x 102" box truck. (9/21/2006)
Response: Hi--My computer messed up last night but seemed to work this morning however I am at my work computer now and wanted to answer again just in case. According to the seller, this is basically a shipping container with palletized type bottom for handling built in. It weighs about 3000# and your rig sounds just right expecially the lift gate. When it gets to my location, we can just set it on the top rails of my lowboy trailer which will hold 10,000# and I can take it from there. Thanks for your question and I hope to hear from you soon. Mike (9/22/2006)
Question: When does the auction end ? (9/21/2006)
Response: Hi--the auction is ended and the unit has been paid for. This is basically a shipping container converted to a storm shelter--it has built in pallet type lift areas. Thanks for asking your question. Mike (9/22/2006)
Question: Hi Do you have a way to load and unload onto the trailer? (9/24/2006)
Response: Hi--and thanks for the question. I believe the seller has a fork lift in Mojave. Ca. as her business is at the airport. On my end, I can winch it off onto the upper rails of my lowboy trailer and handle it from there--it only weighs 3000# and is basically just a metal shipping box that was converted to a hurricane shelter. Thanks and I look forward to your bid--remeber, this can be a partial shipment for anything else coming to Houston. Magnolia, is a suburb on the north side. Thanks, Mike (9/24/2006)
Question: How flexable are you on delivery? Secondy can it go on flatbed trailer? Scott (9/24/2006)
Response: Scott--very flexible-Just keep me informed as to the schedule so I will be at home when you arrive-If the trailer will hold 3000# and a load about 8.5' wide, should work fine. When it arrives, I'm going to winch it onto the top rails of my lowboy trailer for the final placement on my land. This is just basically a small shipping container made into a hurricane shelter--has redimade fork lift/pallet floor rail. I live on a seldom used hardtop road and you won't have to turn around or anything to get back to the main Highway. Please bid soon as I have to accept or reject the other bids. Thanks, Mike (9/25/2006)
Question: i can pick this up today or tomarrow for 1200,let me know asap thank (9/25/2006)
Response: Let's do it!! send the bid thru and I'll accept it. This will be an easy one. I live on a seldom used paved road and the road makes a big circle back to the highway so you won't have to worry about turning around or anything. I will winch it off onto my lowboy trailer rails when you get here and will take it from there. I'll give you complete directions etc. of course and will have a certified check in hand when you arrive as well as cold drinks. The shipper has a fork lift to place it onto the truck. Thanks and God bless. Mike (9/25/2006)
Question: i think you might have just caught me in time...but did pass my exit to get there already but will turn around...review the bid,if you agree then accept or decline asap im holding where im at for next 20 mins thanks (9/25/2006)
Question: Lengtg of 10ft is correct ? (9/25/2006)
