Question: Hi, not sure if the response to your question made it through the other screen. Here it is again just in case: Hi, I cannot absolutely guarantee being in Batavia at 4:30 on Saturday. In good weather it s a 4 hour drive from Pittsburgh. Is the seller at a dealership, or is it a private individual? Is there another location I could meet him/her at? Depending on the amount, if the seller finds it acceptable, I could write a check for the purchase price, and you and I could settle up on delivery. Alternatively, you could overnight payment to the seller. I will do whatever I can to help you make this work, but don't want to make promises I am not certain I can keep. Regards, Chris (1/6/2005)
Question: Another backup message in case the other screen didn't work: Hi Gus, I am still interested. I am moving someone to Pittsburgh using a U-Haul 6x12 cargo trailer. We ought to be finished unloading by noon, but after doing many moves, I've learned that timing can go awry very quickly. I do not have a shipping liscense. Aside from the fact that my U-Ship "career" would end if I didn't deliver, I would be glad to provide you and/or the seller with copies of driver's liscense, tags, etc. Whatever makes you comfortable.
