Questions for this shipment:

Question: I need pictures of this display, and your saying it needs to be crated, meaning that it is not crated and I have to buy the wood to crate it or is it crated. need pictures. (9/26/2007)
Response: This is a commericial christmas display. The acutal display is in sections that are usually about 5'x 5'by 4inches. These frame sections bolt together to make up the finished display, The sections are light about 25lbs ea and are not one solid piece. Picture a 5' x5' square frame of 1/4" rod welded together. The pieces of the outline of the display are welded to this frame. They are not solid in as much as there are open spaces around the display outline. That being said it would be very easy to take a wood pallet attach 2x3 with lag bolts to the pallet and then install two levels of cross bracing on three sides. The panels are then placed into the open end and zip tied to the cross bracing. The next piece is then slid into the open end and zip tied to the first section. This makes it easy to unload and will not shift. I expect we would need two pallets. I am willing to meet you there to assist with the packing and loading if we could get a specific time and date. (9/26/2007)
Response: would it fit in the back of a pickup truck? (9/26/2007)
Response: I would think so...if it has some kind of sides we could load it directly into the truck. thanks Jim (9/26/2007)
Response: OK, now as far as the weight, you say 25 lbs. each, on the board you have 1800 lbs. which is the type-o, can it be tarps or will I need a cap to cover it, and as far as price, would you be able to do $2688.70 (9/26/2007)
Response: That weight would be included for a wood crate and I figured very high I figure it it closer to about 1200lbs. I have offers for far less than the target price. thanks Jim (9/26/2007)
Question: If we were to supply a crate to the pick up point for your shipment would they be able to due the actual crating for us to pick up when it is completed? (9/26/2007)
Response: I do not think so...what type of truk do you have (9/27/2007)
Response: We have a full size semi 48 to 53' or we could use one of the carriers straight trucks which is 28' with lift gates included. (9/28/2007)
Response: the twenty eight foot is plenty and the 48' would be overkill. If this was going to be loaded on a flat trailer then the items could be laid flat and stacked on top of each other and just covered with a tarp and no crating would be needed. I was just informed that some of the pieces are twenty foot. That will need to be shipped flat or to crate it would be a pretty big task. If the trailer is enclosed and the items could be stacked and secured to the wall of the trailer it would be loaded pretty quickly as the individual pcs are not heavy just thin and bulky. I hope this helps. Jim (9/28/2007)
Question: you have just 1 more feedback than me,we all start at 0 and go up,im honest and have never stole from anyone,so you would get your items i deliver to you if ou take my bid,let me know (9/29/2007)
Response: John what size truck do you have and what (9/29/2007)
Response: i have a 1 ton dually (9/29/2007)
Response: what size trailer some of these displays are twenty feet long and will need to be laid flat if your not using a enclosed trailer (9/29/2007)
Question: I have a 40' enclosed race trailer coming your way soon, is this able to be picked up this week? (9/30/2007)
