Questions for this shipment:

Question: Does this have to ride climate controled? (1/23/2009)
Response: I think it can be packed for protection, but it couldn't be exposed to freezing temperatures for a long period. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks (1/23/2009)
Response: I wouldn't be able to protect it from the weather. I just have a pick up and open trailer. Sorry. (1/23/2009)
Response: thanks for the response! (1/23/2009)
Question: can you give me better demensions on tree i am heading to pa with enclosed trailer. Thanks Alan (1/25/2009)
Response: The tree is in a container and will be wrapped. It is about 7 feet tall in the container; two feet wide. It does neet to be inside and secure to that it doesn't get too stressed. Does it sound like something that would work for you? (1/26/2009)
Response: how much are you looking to spend pick up is a ways away from where i will be at (atlanta).I am fixing to head to atlanta will be there at about 2 oclock Thanks Alan (1/26/2009)
Response: What do you think is fair? I used this service (Uship) for a coffee table in the fall and was charge $100.00 Please let me know what you think. Thanks Sharon (1/26/2009)
Response: like i said i would have to travel aways out of my way to pick up so on that note i would need close to 300 for the enclosed trailer spot.let me know and i will bid. Thanks Alan (1/26/2009)
Response: When are you coming? How long will it take you (ie--how long will the tree be in the trailer? and what is the temperature in the trailer?) Thanks (1/26/2009)
Response: i will be in atlanta in acouple hrs.not sure what temp is in trailer.about 13 hr trip (1/26/2009)
Response: I just talked to the nursery--tree is in a pot and is closer to 8' tall/ 5' wide; will be wrapped in burlap totally. The trailer temp has to be at least 28 degrees. If you have that kind of room and temperature is ok--ie it isn't left overnight in the truck and you can do it for $250, Then lets do it! (1/26/2009)
Response: give me an hr 1/2 when not drving let you know (1/26/2009)
Response: ok (1/26/2009)
Response: the fumes from 4 wheelers probly not good for the tree so i think i should pass sorry (1/26/2009)
Response: Thats too bad-- is it 4 wheelers that will be in teh truck too? I am getting desperate to get the tree here for a flower show... (1/26/2009)
Response: yes it is 4 wheelers (1/26/2009)
Response: Please let me know if you reconsider--I am really getting desperate! Thanks (1/27/2009)
Response: when is this needed for sure (1/27/2009)
Response: Preferably by Feb 6 (1/27/2009)
Response: sorry i am just getting back with you.I was driving through all the nasty weather in pa back in tn now and im setting up my run to drumore pa now will be mid next week when i head back up i will be pulling a flat bed this run but i think i can protect it well.let me know if this will work for you. Thanks Alan ($250 all inclusive) (1/28/2009)
Question: Good morning. I will be completing my current South bound run probably on Wednesday and am looking to book now for a quick turn around for a run back north, I would like to schedule pickups starting no later than Thursday or Friday, with deliveries expected within 5-7 days. If this time frame would suit your needs for this, and there would be someone to assist with loading and off loading, I could get this delivered for you for 350, due at pick up via payPal. Please let me know either way as soon as possible. Thanks, Howard. Please review my profile and feedback, just as you should with any bidder you may consider as it really does tell a story about the provider. Also note that I have not yet submitted a bid but will await your reply before doing so. Again, Thank You (1/27/2009)
Response: Just read your message. Are you still interested in bringing up my tree. It is 8'x 5' and will be in a plastic container pot wrapped in burlap. It can't be left in temperatures under 30 degrees and I need it by next Wed, but would love to have it sooner. Please let me know if this works. (1/28/2009)
Response: if you're ready to move on this now, I can do it but I would have to load it no later than Sunday morning. However, you may need to consider that with the temps Pa has been getting of late, the moment cold air hits this, it'll probably go into shock and lose its blossoms..thats something I can't be responsible for. I have a box truck thats mostly insulated and can keep my furnace running to give the cargo area at least some heat..thats about the best I can do temp wise. Let me know as I will be hooking up a boat in the next day or so and at this point, have an empty truck. (1/28/2009)
Question: i can do 225 and pick up on 29 or 30th of jan (1/27/2009)
Response: That is great. The tree is about 8' by 5' it will be wrapped in buralp and in a plastic container pot. It cannot be exposed to air colder that 30 degrees. Will you deliver it the following day after pick up and will it be completely sheltered and secure? The tree is part of a flower show entry. Thanks (1/27/2009)
Question: don't understand your reply of ""?? (1/29/2009)
Response: Sorry I hit the send button without responding If the tree is inside and you have some heat I think it will be ok so long as it is delivered quickly. Can you pick it up--say one day and deliver the next day? I will have to see if the nursery can be open sunday for pick up ;if not, what is your schedule? (1/29/2009)
Response: is ok..happens a lot.lol. From the pickup point in GA to PA is a two day drive(am only allowed 11 hours driving time before a 10 hour rest period..DOT regs) Here's the thing, while I could probably pick this up on Saturday, doing so wouldn't allow me time to try and pick up something else headed north. I have a boat to hook up this afternoon going to Richmond, Va, but to have only a tree in the back wouldn't be worth the trip it pick up early. I suppose I could pickup EARLY Monday, but it would be tight getting it there by Wednesday. To pick it up on Saturday, the rate would have to be 475 since it would be the only thing in my truck..I hope you can understand the economics. Let me know what you'd like tyo do on this so I can make whatever adjustments to my schedule that would be needed. Thanks, Howard. (1/29/2009)
Response: I don't want to mess up another schedule. If you pick it up on Monday, then I might have it on Wednesday or better Thursday? It is being dropped at a nursery so it would have to ve during business hours. (1/29/2009)
Response: yes..you have it either wed pm or thursday latest. let me know if/when you're ready to accept bid at 350 w/ pickup monday am, and i'll submit right away. thanks, howard. (1/29/2009)
Question: there was nothing in last response. Thanks Alan (1/29/2009)
Question: I will need an answer today.. (1/29/2009)
Response: I just can't decide whether your truck will be warm enouhg for the three days the tree is in it--do you thing it will go below freezing if the outside temperature is below freezing? (1/29/2009)
Response: the box stayed about 45 when i was in davenport and it was -21 outside. (1/29/2009)
Response: Thanks for answering all of my questions, but I think I need to find a climate controlled space. I am really worried about shock for the tree. Good luck! (1/30/2009)
Response: Your delivery time frame is fast approaching. I can still do this for you but you need to let me know today. Your tree will do just fine in my truck, but I need to know whether to adjust my route up to Moultrie. (1/31/2009)
Question: Are you sure about weight of tree & soil in container. I would guess more like 500lb ???/ (2/1/2009)
Response: yes, about 100-130 lbs (2/2/2009)
