Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can this be tied down to the roof of a van? (12/8/2007)
Response: I don't believe so. It is called a high top camper shell (Leer #122). You can check with the Leer camper shell people in your area fro a better answer. (12/8/2007)
Question: Having been declined at less than a dollar a mile to the truck, what is your target shipping price. Helps us, the transporters, to know if it is worth bidding on for us, when we know what the customer wants to spend. Sometimes the run is on the way, sometimes its out of the way, and with diesel at near 4.00 a gallon, its getting hard to meet some prices. So, what where you l ooking to spend on this shipment? (12/9/2007)
Response: In all honesty, we were hoping for a bid around $200-250 and would be willing to meet a trucker around San Jose, Calif. so that they would not have to travel over the mountain to Santa Cruz which we feel is out of the way. (12/9/2007)
Response: Well, a bid of 290 would net the driver about 250 dollars after the USHIP match fee, which is the deposit the shipper pays. I'd be willing to do it for that price, if I can get my trailer completely loaded... I'll look around and see if I can't accomodate that load. The side benefit for you would be, as I said, I have a home in Boulder Creek, so I would still bring it over the hill fo ryou. Thanks, and I appreciate the candid and quick answer. --Shane WHY We Haul Your ? (12/9/2007)
Response: Hello, We need the shell by the end of this week. I know that it is difficult for you to know whether you will have a full load by the time we need the shell, but we will agree to this price if it can be delivered by then. Otherwise, I plan to go down there tomorrow and pick it up. (12/10/2007)
Response: I'd say run down there, as I don't look to be there anytime around the timeframe you want. Sorry about that, would have worked out great, but I have some other stuff to get to on the other side of the state. Thanks, though. Maybe some other time we can work together and get stuff shipped up to Santa Cruz for ya. --Shane WHY We Haul Your ? (12/10/2007)
Question: Could I attach this to my 2007 Chevy short-bed-x-cab & bring it up this week? (12/10/2007)
Response: I think it would be difficult to impossible because this is an 8 ft.long bed. Thank you anyway. (12/10/2007)
Response: Thanks for the quick reply. My trailer is full, and was hoping it would fit on the truck. best regards & hope you find a carrier this week. (12/10/2007)
Question: Hi, I can go to San Diego pick up your camper shell early Wednesday morning and can be in Los Banos on the (5 freeway and highway 152)on Friday afternoon/evening. I can bring it there for $200.00. Let me know and I will submit the bid this evening. Marc/toynutt (12/10/2007)
Response: that sounds great give me a call six five zero nine zero six eight one five four (12/10/2007)
Response: Hi, I'm putting in the bid right now. I will call you right away after you accept. Marc/toynutt (12/10/2007)
Question: Hi, I have posted the bid. Marc/toynutt (12/10/2007)
Response: We have accepted. Will expect your call this evening. (12/10/2007)
Response: Hi, I'm watching my computer. Its hasn't registered yet on my end. I'll keep watching. Marc/toynutt (12/10/2007)
Question: Mabe you missed something. Does it show accepted at your end? Its still open at this end. Marc (12/10/2007)
