Questions for this shipment:

Question: DOES THIS TRAILER HAVE BUMPER HITCH GOOSENECK OR FITHWHEEL HITCH? THANK YOU PMEXPRESS. (9/5/2006)
Response: bumper (9/6/2006)
Question: Please accept or decline my bid, as I will be in your area on Sunday. I would really appreciate the opportunity to help you out. Thanks, Tooldad. (9/8/2006)
Response: sorry wont need it till end of month (9/9/2006)
Question: well then why dont you put the time frame on the add that you wwant it shipped (9/9/2006)
Response: thanks for your help. maybe I should have put in there that I don't use services without feedback for this particular reason (9/10/2006)
Question: So if the person doesnt have any feed back you dont want them to haul it? If not i dont live very far from sikeston i could pull it to fenton for you sometime this week i need to go to st louis anyways. (9/10/2006)
Response: Again I don't need it till the end of the month have you even bid I don't see one DC (9/12/2006)
Question: I have a bussiness and ref. I would be pulling it with a 1 1/2 ton ford truck (9/10/2006)
Response: like I said before when you asked I don't need it till the end of the month DC (9/12/2006)
Question: Could do end of month, will the trailer have current tags? (9/10/2006)
Response: It is new from a dealer so i can get a temp or a real tag when i pay the tax. The end of the month would be better for me as I am waiting for a nicer space to open and if not I will put it in the spot I have now. Thanks DC (9/11/2006)
Question: I am just a teacher trying to make the all mighty $ on weekends. I will care for this trailer as if it was my own. I can give references on my towing ability. As I stated, I own 2 trailers of the same size and 2 others. Have 12 years CDL experience also. Would appreciate this opportunity. Tooldad. (9/12/2006)
Response: I will be making my choice within the week (9/20/2006)
Question: We will be coming through your area this coming week, probablyWeds or Thurs. I'd like to know something ASAP. Thanks Beth (ConcreteAngel959) (9/23/2006)
Response: Again I'm waiting till end of month. In your original bid you said you could do it the first week of October after your son's wedding. Has this changed? Waiting for a space to open and moving before would require a double move. Thanks DC (9/23/2006)
Question: still looking at around the 30th? (9/26/2006)
Response: yes or maybe within a couple days after (9/26/2006)
Question: im new to uship, but not to towing campers,i can give you several references if you like.i hope to do bussiness with. (9/27/2006)
Response: Yes you are 1 of 3 (10/2/2006)
Question: how about 10/7? I have a class in Sikeston and live in Arnold, MO. Would do for $150 if you can make that weekend work. Tooldad (9/29/2006)
Response: Would cause a double move would you come back to set it on the lot? I can store very closeby (10/2/2006)
Question: am i in the running like i told you im new to uship not towing campers.do you still need this done,i hope to able to help with this soon, thanks lwoeltje (10/2/2006)
Response: I will make my descision by end of day tomm (10/2/2006)
Question: Sorry, we dropped this shippment by accident, let us know if you are still interested in using us. (10/4/2006)
Response: I am extending the bid to the 15th as I need on or after the 20th (10/6/2006)
Question: Make sure that who ever you get to pull your camper that they Have MC#S and USDOT#S or they are not legal to pull your camper. And if they get stoped your camper could end up at the impound not where you want it. (10/4/2006)
Response: Please read my previous comments and answers (10/6/2006)
Question: The previous shipper needs to worry about himself. That is just a scare tactic. You may move personal items for yourself or a "friend" without the DOT #'s. Freight is a different story. Yes he is technically correct, but rec vehicles are exempt from weigh stations and they won't get checked unless they are speeding or no tags. Temp tags would even work for this trip. Good luck and sorry I can't do this for you. (10/6/2006)
Response: I have tags and I am not impressed by fear mongering or sympathy card playing while we are at it. Thank You for keeping your peers in line there are some that I would not choose based on their manipulations alone. That is tragic when your causing yourself more competition than an army of bidders. Not trying to preach here but we will all get further if we can get ourselves out of our way. What I and any other consumer is wanting is value. I will choose based on value for my dollars. The difference in price is so slight in this case ( $150 from high bidder to low ) that it does not concern me. I paid several thousand dollars for this and will add thousands to it before it is done and I have a buyer for thousands more than that so $25 off your bid will not sway me. I am looking for the best shipper with the most to offer for a reasonable fee whatever that may be. (10/6/2006)
Question: I see that all the bids have expired or been cancelled. Do you still need this moved? I am going right through both origin and destination on Monday, 10/6 if you do. Dan (10/6/2006)
Response: Not sure if this is the best place to update but my space will open up on the 17th and needs some preparation so if all goes well I will need moved October 20th or soon thereafter I will be open as far as date just cannot be sooner unless you want to come back and set it in it's final spot as I have storage. I will try to add all of this to the listing. (10/6/2006)
Question: That last fellow is partially right!I drive a Ford F350 and pull for hire. When you are moving personal items for yourself and/or for a friend that is fine...BUT!!! if you do it for money or personal gain you HAVE to have a DOT/ICC# Also I Am leased thru Starfleet Inc. I move these for a living from Manufacturer to dealership..I have to enter ALL DOT scales and weigh stations,I have been Inspected and checked. (MY $1,000,000.00 required Liability insurance,my NTL insurance,My cargo Insurance,My Medical card, permits for each state and my log book.) PASS a scale with a DOT # on your truck and you just may get some pretty Hefty fines...Also state troopers are pulling RVs over at random and checking For proof of ownership because some guys are not displaying there ICC/DOT # If you get caught pulling one of these without all that is mentioned above,"Whoa is you" better have at least $10,000.00 for each item you dont have(that is the maximum fine)This is'nt a scare tactic! "It's the TRUTH" (10/6/2006)
Response: The explaination may help others. I have tried to convey the message that I would prefer a professional with rv experience to reduce the chance for damage to the unit both interior and exterior. I prefer that someone be appropriately insured either by policy or bond. I want this to be drama free. I want my cargo intact and want all of the people and things in it's path unharmed. I'm a full time rv'er I have many friends with large trucks who would do this for me in a minute but why risk putting them in a situation. I could pull my 40 ft trailer with my 40 ft motorhome but would that be very responsible? I travel extensively and find most carriers to be safe well mannered road companions and there are others willing to risk their life and mine to get it there 4 minutes sooner ( If you are one of these drivers do us all a favor and don't bid). (10/6/2006)
Question: I appreciate the comeback. That was not intended for you and sorry to use your listing as a information tool. I am a professional driver and I believe that there is no freight in this world That I would haul that is worth risking The Safety of others or myself to get something delivered. I enjoy doing working for myself and setting my own schedules, that way I dont have to push myself and drive when i am tired, like I did when I was a truck driver.thanx For your response (10/6/2006)
Response: I used you back to clarify my needs and opinions (10/6/2006)
Question: Shipper: I have placed a formal bid to deliver your travel trailer. Please note the details of the bid and should you have any questions feel free to contact me. I can be somewhat flexible on the dates if needed. I would just need a day or so advance notice. The bid duration is for a short period, but if it expires and you want my service later please contact me. Thank you // Don @ SEMO Motor Transport Service (10/7/2006)
Response: I will keep you in mind as the date nears (10/7/2006)
Question: Sorry about all the talk i didn mean to make this a message board. But I am glad that the guy from starfleet agrees with me.I have pulled alot of campers in my time. But i am willing to say that if the guy from starfleet has a bid and you like it that is the guy you should get to do the job. I placed bids at one time and now they have expired. Good Luck to you. Thanks RodL. (AND YOUR WELCOME STARFLEET.) (10/8/2006)
Response: There is no bid of STARFLEET and feel free to bid again. My timeframe was the variable at first that is why I didn't pick one and you have a lot more feedback than some which is a factor (10/8/2006)
Question: what a bunch of bs they must really need the work to act like that good luck beware people like that i dont think id let them on my property (10/8/2006)
Response: Don't be concerned I'm a no drama guy (10/8/2006)
Question: Hello when are you wanting this done? Thanks RodL (10/8/2006)
Response: 19th-26th i'm flexible after the 19th but not before sorry i was gone couple of days so if any of that would work for you let me know and we will go from there Thanks DC (10/10/2006)
Question: My price would be the same as my other 2 bids, please let me know if you are interested and I will bid again. Thanks, RodL (10/10/2006)
Response: Thanks Rod send me the bid (10/10/2006)
Question: Hello. I have no feedback as of yet because I am new to UShip, however, I do have many references that I can give you. I have been in the transportation industry for 10 years now and I feel like I am capable of moving this for you. I can do it for you for $225, on the 23rd or 24th preferably. If you are interested, please get back with me so I can submit a formal bid. Thanks, Michael with RPM Trans. (10/10/2006)
Response: I have some preferences just trying to finalize before accepting but thanks for the offer (10/10/2006)
Question: No problem. Thanks for the quick answer! (10/10/2006)
Response: sure try to be efficient (10/11/2006)
Question: I DRIVE A TRUCK PROFESSIONALLY OVER THE ROAD, HAVE FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS. I HAUL TRACTORS AND PULL CAMPERS ON THE SIDE I HAVE NO NUMBERS HAVE NEVER BEEN HASSLED FOR NOT HAVING ANY. I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER A TIME I WAS PULLED OVER PULLING TRACTORS OR CAMPERS. ON THE ROAD YOU HEAR ALL THESE STORIES, AND THATS JUST WHAT THEY ARE STORIES. I DO CARRY CARGO INSURANCE THROUGH A BROKER AND I DON'T LOOK TO TAKE WORK FROM ANYONE ELSE, BUT LEAVE ALL YOUR WISDOMS YOU HAVE HEARD FROM OHTER STORIE TELLERS ON THE ROAD WHERE THEY BELONG.OH AND DID I MENTION MY BROTHER AND FATHER ARE BOTH TROOPERS( YES FEDERAL DOT OFFICERS) SO I GET THE INSIDE SCOOP ON ALL THE LATEST GOSSIP AND THEORIES OF THE ROAD (10/11/2006)
Response: What dates would you be available (10/11/2006)
Question: you give me a date you need it moved and i can work around your schedule (10/12/2006)
Response: I will decide tonight (10/12/2006)
Question: That Guy is full of poop. (10/12/2006)
Response: Don't hold back rod say what you mean (10/12/2006)
Question: Y'all just caused me to miss JEOPARDY! but this site is much more interesting! Even Judge Judy can't beat this one! Have a good day! (10/12/2006)
Response: this is nothing like i would have thought (10/12/2006)
