Additional Information: have 268 field pack frames with straps, in two 40x48x40 heavy cardboard boxes, Need to pick up in Mechanicsburg Pa (Harrisburg) ASAP and bring to Eastern NC. I'm willing to meet on the I-95 corridor (Rocky Mount or Wilson exits). These items can be left in the tri-walls or removed if easier transporting. Forklift or hand load/unload. Total weight is 400 lbs or so, could be a little less.
Govt warehouse, appt absolutely necessary, pickup ONLY Tues, Wed, Thur 7:15 a.m. to 2:00 pm, and I need to fax authorizations to office and shipper so you can enter the base. Report a Violation

Response: knapsack frames as pictured are in 2 heavy cardboard shipping boxes the govt calls TRIWALLS because they are triple thick and very sturdy. Also on pallets. Can be transported on pallets, or even removed from the boxes if easier to transport. Measurements are 40x48x40, weight about 400# total. Forklifts on both ends, or hand unload with help available. If hand load, items will be set next to truck or trailer. Communication and punctuality for pickup a MUST. (3/14/2006)
Question: anyfreights price was too hi for gov't freight? since when does gov't freight come up on load boards amyways, I've pulled plenty of gov't freight (I and all our drivers posess gov't clearences) and never saw it cheap...infact, we usually prefer to haul it because it's prime rate freight.....so what gives?
