Additional Information: We do a great job of packing our items before shipping, mattress and box springs can be shipped on end (doesn't have to be flat). Entertainment center top separates from the bottom making it easier to transport and carry.

Response: Thanks for the quick response. We're not sure we want to spend $520 to send these items to our kids (king mattress, box springs and ent. ctr.) By the way, my husband just told me the ent. ctr. seperates into 2 pieces. I think I will wait and see if I get a bid closer to $300 and then decide what to do. The mattress is great but the ent. ctr. only cost $500 new so we have to determine how much its worth to ship. Thanks. (3/11/2007)

Response: We still have the mattress and ent. ctr. that needs to go from Naples, FL to Indianapolis, IN. You mentioned that you would be back in this area soon. Any chance that it will be before April 4? (3/24/2007)

Response: April 11th or anytime before April 15th will work for us. The entertainment center is in 2 pieces and has an approx. combined weight of 200 lbs. The king mattress weighs approx 80 lbs. and the box springs are about 20lbs. each. (as you know, a king box springs is actually in 2 pieces). We'll watch for your bid. Is there anything preventing semi access at both ends? ie tight turns overheads less than 13'6" or bridges w/ weight restrictions. 2. How many stairs would be involved at each end? Response: To be honest, I am waiting to see if I get any lower bids :) When we first posted this shipment I got a $350 bid and an "unofficial" bid for $325 but we would have had to have the items ready to ship early the next morning after I got the bid at 11 pm and it was not possible to act that quickly. Response: Sorry to be so indecisive. We just discovered last night that my son won't be able to get the king size mattress into his basement apartment and will have to store it until he moves in July. Now we are trying to find out if we can get a box to store it in and also get a price on storage to see if it is even worth sending it at all (by the time we add up shipping and storage maybe he could just buy a new mattress??). I am guessing that if we only sent the entertainment center there wouldn't be that much of a price difference but I would be interested in knowing. Response: 2 more questions: 1) will be mattress be shipped in an enclosed truck, trailer, etc.? We sure don't want to take a chance on it getting wet. 2) Do you have a mattress box by chance? Since we have to store it in Indy for several months we have been advised to store it in a box and I'm having trouble locating one. Thanks. (4/2/2007)

Response: Yes, there will be someone at both ends to help. We will be storing the mattress in Indy for several months (we just found out last night that our son can't get the king size mattress into his basement apartment). We have been told that if we are going to store it for that long that it needs to be in an air conditioned space and it needs to be in a box. Do you sell boxes for mattresses? Or, if you have any other options please let me know. I don't suppose you have a storage facility do you? Thanks. I have a bid that has already been made that I have to respond to by tomorrow and it happens to be the lowest one so far. Response: What type of vehicle will be taking my items to Indiana. The mattress must be kept clean and dry and I will need a sturdy box so that it can be stored upright for several months without damage to the mattress. The entertainment center is inexpensive so will need to be handled carefully since is it not sturdily constructed. Thank you. (4/2/2007)
