Additional Information: This is an NHRA junior dragster rolling chassis. I need to have it crated and shipped. Chassis in made of chromoly steel. Has fiberglass body mounted on it. No pics available on computer I am using. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: If it were hauled in an enclosed trailer would you still require crating? Is there any way to get it to the Flint or Pontiac Michigan areas? I'm headed for Phoenix next weekend but your car is 125 miles north of me, so it would be 250 miles out of my way. The cost savings of not having to crate it might be greater than my cost to go pick it up. Tom (11/2/2006)
Response: No, it would not need to be crated if it were in an enclosed trailer. It would need to be secured to keep it from rolling and protected from anything falling on the fiberglass body. It is possible for me to get it down to Flint but give me a price for pick up at my location and a price if you pick it up in the Flint area. Thanks, Mark (11/2/2006)
Question: To pick it up at your location I would have to use my single car open trailer. At 10 mpg it's not worth pulling my 46 ft 2 car enclosed gooseneck that far. Flint is only about 25 miles north of me. I have an extension built rearward off the gooseneck floor inside the trailer that would put the car above anything else and be able to be securely tied down. I have put furniture or motorcycles up there before. I can also wrap it in moving blankets for extra protection. Would be $675 from your location or $600 from Flint. I would like to pick it up this weekend to allow time for packing my trailer as it would be the first in and last out. Would be to you nov. 20th. (11/2/2006)
