Question: Hello, What is your preferred time-frame? Thanks, Matt(Wolverine Transport)
(6/29/2008)

Response: Hopefully by the end of this week, but it has to be picked up by 7/9/08. (6/29/2008)

Response: Hello , If you click on our name, you can review our profile and all of our feedback. I will submit a bid with Door to Door service for you to review. Make sure to click the bid details; as it will most likely have all of the details you need. Thanks, Matt(WolverineTransport) (6/29/2008)

Question: Can the boat be towed? If so, how are the brakes, tires, bearings. I am heading to chicago at the end of the week. thanks (6/29/2008)

Response: The auction house said the boat is towable; there is a spare tire; and it is a single axle trailer with no brakes. If you need more information I can get you in touch with the auction house. This is a 2006 model, I can't imagine it is in bad shape.
Thanks. (6/29/2008)

Response: Thanks for getting back to me. I am planning to leave at the end of this week. I can give you a good rate towing it up. I am a private party and my insurance does NOT cover other people items that I might tow. I would need to make sure that you have full coverage insurance to protect your boat in transit. I have NEVER had anything happen, but I like to be upfront so there are no surprises in case something did happen. If this is acceptable, I would consider towing it for about $775. (6/29/2008)

Response: The boat will have full coverage as of this Tuesday. How will you be towing the unit and are you planning on delivering to my address or Chicago?
Is this a business for you, or are you being opportunistic on having to make this trip? If this is a business, do you have any references and what are your terms for payment?
Thanks, Joe (6/29/2008)

Response: Joe, I am not in the business. I go back to Chicago 3 or 4 times a year and look for something to off set the expenses. I usually tow a classic car from AZ and sell it up in Chicago, but with the economy the way it is, I do not want to speculate. The price would be to the NW Suburbs of Chicago (Park Ridge). For a little bid more I could bring it all the way. Thanks (6/29/2008)

Response: I would prefer delivery to my address. Sussex is an hour and 15 minutes north of Chicago. Can you reprice and will you accept cash payment upon delivery? What is your towing vehicle, and does it have mud flaps to help prevent stone chips?
What date are you planning on leaving to Chicago?
Thanks, Joe (6/29/2008)

Response: I figure another $100 up to your address. I have a 3/4 ton Turbo Diesel Chevy Truck. Yes there are flaps. I would plan leaving on Thursday or Friday. I will be away from the computer for the rest of the afternoon, so, If I do not get back to you, I will later. Does the trailer have plates? In AZ, they usually have permanent plates that transfer. If you could check, that would be great. Thanks (6/29/2008)

Response: I'll check on the plates, how do we close this deal? (6/30/2008)

Response: Let me know on the plates, then I will place a bid. I would ask for a $200 deposit, and the rest cash on delivery. Thanks (7/1/2008)

Response: No plates, but the facility manager will give you a 21 day permit that you can show any PD in case you were to get pulled over. I also found out that the unit can only be picked up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There also are not any tie downs on the back of the boat to connect to the trailer; do you have any to use? As far as a cash deposit; you have a large asset of mine and should have no concern for me not to pay you. I am a CPA with the state of WI and am good for the $875 upon arrival. Let me know if this Thursday works and when I can expect you in Wisconsin.
Thanks, Joe (7/1/2008)

Response: Did you change the pickup city? Was it always Arizona City? For some reason I am thinking the listing said Tempe before. Sorry, the reason I require a small deposit is for the fact I have to travel some distance to pickup the boat. If I travel that distance, and the trailer, or boat are not road worthy. I am out of a lot of time and fuel money. Or if some reason you cut another deal to have it shipped, and I go down there to get it and it is not there. I also would be out what has to be paid to U ship. I ask for a small deposit to show good faith, and to cover my expenses that are in cured before I even see the boat. AZ City is 140 miles round trip from where I live. It is true that I will have a big asset of yours, but that is after I pick it up. If you want an idea my reputation, go to fl"E"a bay and check out dingothedingo. Yes, I do have tie downs for the back of the boat. I assume they are nothing special, just regular tie downs. Thanks, Christopher (7/1/2008)

Response: Christopher, the pick-up city has not changed. I will not pay in advance and would rather give you an extra $100 to pick-it up Thursday and bring it up. I'll be just as committed to this deal as you are.
Thanks, Joe (7/1/2008)

Response: Joe, i do not want $100 more to pick it up. I want to do it for what I said I would do it for. I am sorry that you find a good faith deposit so un-palatable. It is not like I was asking for all the cash up front, or even half. Sure in your eyes I will have "a large asset of yours" once I pick it up, but with out a title in my name, it has 'no value' to me. It isn't even about that. I have gone out of my way to give you a great price, and work with all your request. I am a little set back that a small deposit is a stumbling block. It makes me real tentative of how you might be to work with. I do not want to get all the way to Wisconsin and get the run around. Thanks for the consideration, but I will pass on the opportunity to help you out with your boat. Thanks, Christopher (7/1/2008)

Question: Hello shipper I live in WI, and will be delivering a 5th wheel to West TX the middle of next week. I would be willing to swing over to AZ, and pick up your boat for the return trip. This would work nicely as I have family in Tucson and Phoenix. I am a professional transporter, leased to a professional transport co. Fully bonded Licensed, and insured w/6mil in liability. Please check out feedback and profile under debcott. My price would be reasonable. Thanks for the consideration, Scott J. @ Debcott, a division of Star Fleet Inc. (6/30/2008)

Response: Scott, what is the date you think you can pick up the boat, and what is your price?
Thanks, Joe (6/30/2008)

Response: Hi Joe, I am sorry, I guess I wasted your time. I just noticed that you have some price quotes and bids that are probably going to beat me. I cannot operate and lose money. When you are a professional, and commercial carrier you are governed by a whole new set of rules. With vehicle maintenance, cost of fuel@ 5 bucks a gal, and our commercial insurance policies to protect all the toy's we pull. I can't hardly start my truck for less than 95 cents a mile, and that isn't even paying myself. I would do it for 1800.00 but that is only because the load will get me within 2 hrs of home. If I can be of further assistance let me know. Thanks Scott J. (6/30/2008)

Question: I can tow it for you on the 2nd of july ,but you turned down some good offers Check my profila and feedback. I'm also insured for 100k COD Thanks walbert52 (6/30/2008)

Response: Will you take $1300 and can you pick it up on the 3rd? The facility is only open Tue and Thurs. The boat will need tie down straps in the back to secure the boat to the trailer.
Thanks, Joe (7/1/2008)

Response: No Sir not for a 1900 plus mile tow. I was giving a break at 1900, now I'm in Iowa heading back home, give me a chance to check how far I'm out of my way. Thanks walbert52 (7/1/2008)
