Question: I think that I am missing something here (my fault). Can I tow your boat on the trailer it is on or do you want the trailer/boat on another trailer. also with fuel prices the way they are I really can't go any lower unless I can pickup another haul going that way or returning from that area. as far an insurance goes I am working on that right nowe but I would have something just dont know yet what. (9/27/2007)

Response: Ok I thought you were putting it on the back of a truck. Yes you can tow it on the trailer it is on. It has lights ect. Let me know about the insurance and when you you would be able to pick it up. It will be ready Monday pm or tuesday anytime. I can meet you at the address and pay you then. I do have a couple more quotes that r close to yours so give me your best price. Thanks John (9/27/2007)

Question: Hello: I could still do this for you with pickup on the 27th or 28th as long as it can be towed on it's own trailer. Thank YOu: Doc (9/27/2007)

Response: I am not sure on your dates. Today is the 28th. I can have it ready on Monday or Tuesday 1st or 2nd. Yes it is on its own trailer. Thanks John (9/28/2007)

Response: I'm sorry I had the dates wrong. I was looking at my calander and looked at the wrong week. Pickup would be the 3rd or 4th as I have a 5th wheel to deliver in Mt. on the 2nd. I will place a bid now. Thank You: Doc (9/28/2007)

Response: Is $700 your best price?? I fly out on the 2nd could it be picked up on the 1st pm. Thanks John (9/28/2007)

Response: I'm sorry but I cannot pick up on the 1st. The 3rd or 4th would be the earliest. I will be in Great Falls, Mt. on the 1st. Yes 700 is the best I can do what with the cost of diesel fuel. Thank you: Doc (9/28/2007)

Question: Morning John. I can do this for you on Mon. and meet you in Cal on Tues when you fly in. Will that work? (9/28/2007)

Response: Monday pm the boat will be ready. I am flying to New zealand on tuesday evening. The drop point is a shipping yard that a friend of mine runs. The load will be the boat with some odds and ends tucked inside. What is your price and how do you want to get paid. John (9/28/2007)

Response: After all costs involved for this and my charge of 700, I will do this for 770.70 and will pick up Mon eve. Do you know if the trailer id roadworthy? I am always monitoring the heat of the axles hubs and tires, and if i for see a potential problem, I take care of it, before it escalates into a breakdown. You can feel at ease while yuou travel down under, that your boat is in good hands! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns! Take Care! (9/28/2007)

Response: Yes the trailer is totally roadworthy. I brought it a week ago and because I am aking it overseas it is not registered. Is that a problem do I need to get a temp permit for it. I am happy to pay you $700 cash anymore and I will have to consider other bids. Thanks John (9/28/2007)

Response: OK, I tell you what I will do. I will go to the DMV and get the necessary permits, you pay the quote I gave you, with 300 down payment, balance on delivery, and we'll be good to go on Mon eve! Sound like a plan? (9/28/2007)

Response: I can get $700 total price from other bids I will get the permit. I dont see an offical bid there from you. $700 pick up mon pm drop off within a day or 2 at yard in Paramont. $300 up front rest on delivery. You cover insurance. Hows that?? (9/28/2007)

Response: Well here's the issue John. If I submit my quote for 700, I will only net 629.30 and then we pay the fuel, and other misc. expenses, then the wife ends up with the rest. I may get a burger or two out of the deal, and if I am a good boy, a few Dr. Peppers to keep me alert! Thats about it too! I would really prefer to get the permit myself, in my name to avoid any hassels with the law, and I know what I am talking about there!!! It would take you some time and money to get the permits, so it would be in both our best interests to have you pay me the 770, then I will net 700, and I will handel all the legalities. I realize you have another offer for a bit less, but my profile shows 100% satisfied clients, and I do alot of boats!! I hope this all makes sense to you, and if we are on the same page here, let me know, and I will submit the bid, we'll get each others numbers, once you accept, then we can chat, and quit typing. Hows that? (9/28/2007)

Response: Hey John,
I just wrote you an extensive response about the solution for this transport. I hope you get it. It was held up for some weird reason. So I will try again here shortly, to get you a solution. I am positive we can come to a resonable compromise. Lets watch this for a bit, to see if my earlier message surfaces, and we'll go from there. Hang in there! (9/28/2007)

Question: Morning John,
Well it looks like they arent going to release it, so here we go again! I have transported alot of boats, and have experienced the law and how they react with us transporters. Which is why it is in both our best interest to have me get the tags required. You would spend time and money anyway. If we leave things as I have quoted, I will only net 700 after all the expenses, then the fuel, and the other hidden costs. I realize that you have a slighly lower bid, and what I can offer you is a quicker time frame, and peace of mind that you will get this in the same shape it left in! And I will take care of the legalities. If this all makes sense to you, and we are on the same page, let me know, and I will submit the quote right away. Okay, hope to do business with you. You will be happy with the results, like all my clients have experienced!! (9/29/2007)

Response: Thanks for the note. I am about to fly fly down to Salt Lake so will mail you tomorrow Sunday and deal with this. If you put the quote in I will get to it tomorrow. Thanks John (9/29/2007)

Response: Alright, I will submit things as we have discussed. Look forward to helping you out! (9/29/2007)
